Hello girls! Welcome to our new thread ( and the last one until we all give birth, how exciting?!)
So to summarize,

We all due almost at the same time...like you, I wish my baby comes a little earlier, maybe on the first?
I do not have any sharp pain but I do feel pressure...I also have a doc appt tomorrow where she will do the strep b test and check for dialation...I bet I am not dialiting yet, I am only going to be 35.3 weeks...

Anya-thanks for starting the new thread. Welcome to 35th week. Zuz and I will start out 35th on Wednesday. I am off to my appt now. Will update when I get back.
Hi! Just got back from my appt. Kayden is perfect! He's 5.5 lbs so far and doing well! He has hair and chubby little cheeks! I love the 3-D u/s! I'm going back in two weeks for a cervix check as well as the strep b test. God willing, things continue to go well! My doc told me that all aches, pain, and pressure are normal and I just have to deal!

Hi, here is my update. My baby is doing fine and u/s showed it's a big baby. I have to go back in three weeks for another u/s. My OB didn't mention anything about the cervix exam or strep b test. Should I ask him? I have go in a week for check up. I will ask him then. Doc said baby is fine.
ZUZ- wow, your baby is already quiet big! I wish my baby was 5 pounds..I don't know how much she weights but last time she was on a smaller size...
Maria- The strep B test is done at 36 weeks..I will be 35.3 weeks tomorrow and will have a strep b test so I hope its not too early....this is a last test they will have...You are so lucky to have so many u/s!!!

Anya-Dont worry about baby's weight. You need a healthy baby. Its a norm at my OB's place to do the u/s. So far everyhing is going well. I should ask my doc's office about strep b test. About the baby's gender, few more weeks and we'll know.

Maria, I'm so glad baby is doing so good and you've been feeling good! Those are the most important things! I can't wait till we all are sharing pictures of our babies!
Anya, my baby is actually not big. He's right where he's supposed to be, 47th percentile, I think they said. In fact, they told me again that my tummy is measuring small again! I think it's just the way it is and that's that! He is measuring perfectly and looked great today. Thats all I care about. I just can't wait to hold him!

Today had my doc appoitment and bc I told my doc about the pressure , sharp pain in my pelvis and not feeling baby moving everyday she first checked my cervix and it is close so that is good news. Measuring 36 weeks instead of my 34 weeks.
Had a non stress test and showed some decelaration in baby's heartbeat bc of this sent me to have an ultrasound to check the amount of amniotic fluid bc if your fluid is low can cause baby's heart rate to drop. The u/s tech said everything was normal fluid is great and baby is fine, so I guess is one of those litlle things that happens once in a while.
So I guess I am 34 weeks measuring 36 baby weights 5 pounds and 10 ounces and my due date if you go by my original measure is July 12 but if bc I measure bigger baby might come in 4 more weeks at the end of June or so.
So will see what happens. Glad to hear everyone else is doing well and we are all moving along.

I'm glad things are ok. Thats something to be very thankful for! So what if baby is a little big!?! If your doc is not concerned, then you shouldn't be either. After all that we've all gone through to get where we are, and after how far we've all come, I know that God is with us and our little ones and they are going to be perfect!
BTW, I'm getting sharp pains too. My doctor said its probobly the baby moving over a muscle or something (can't remember exactly) on the pelvic floor. Sometimes they hurt so bad, I'm caught off guard and have to take a deep breath. The good thing is that they pass quickly. Do your's?

Eternidad - wow, so you are measuring bigger and your baby weights great! Which means that you might be first one to give birth out 4 of us!! :) I think it is great though, you get to meet your little one VERY SOON! 4-5 more weeks, girls! Can you believe it?
I remember us writing in October when we had TWW and then BFP! and now we are talking about delivering soon, woho!

I am doing well is being a long day at work but everything is moving fine.
Zuz- the sharp pains get better quite easy and they go back to normal.
Anya- Who knows will see if baby comes early.

So, I came back from my MW...first of all, I am getting swollen, does anybody else experiencing the same? My fingers and ancles are swollen, especially if it is hot outside...MW said its normal and to drink a lot of water.
Also, she did a strep B test and I will know the results in another week and a half.
Finally, she checked my cervix...OH BOY that was painful as hell...she went very very very very very far.....anyway, I was in great pain. She said that she felt the baby's head :)
So I am 1 cm dialated, station -2 (baby's head) and 50% efaced. Things are moving along for me :)

Anya- i snice thata everything is going well. About the swelling, no so far I have not got any, but at work I walk a lot and keep myself well hydrated drinking about 12 glasses of water daily. About your cervix I think she is right 1 cm is nothing, wow she felt the baby's head that is remarkable. Mine did not feel anything when she checked my cervix she had to do an u/s to see how low baby's head was. And you are right you might be 1 cm until delivery date, who knows what is going to happen next.

Yeah, my MW is nuts :) I mean going that far....I hope everything goes well for the next 4 weeks and I delivery vaginally with no problem..I decided to get epidural but wait until I can't wait anylonger :) I got swelling mostly on my fingers, especially my second fingers and its hard to make a fist or to grasp something...they got twice as big and very uncomfy!
So Eternidad, when are you planning to stop working? I can't believe you still walk around like that!

Hi Everyone! How are you all? I'm doing ok. Just uncomfortable! I can't wait for baby! I have another appt on the 15th or 16th to do that strep b test and dialation check. Then I guess I go every week after that. I'll be 37 weeks by then!! Woo hoo!! I'm getting some swelling too lately. My pretty right hand ring is kinda tight lately and all of my shoes are!!!!!!!! That makes me sad. I love my shoe collection. :(

Nice to read about what everyone is going through because of their babies. One day as will all look back and think about this. I am doing alright. My doctor did not check my cervix at the appointment, but the ultrasound showed baby's head is already down and doc said that was good. My baby measured big in the u/s, but was on target according to belly measurement. My doc said the u/s weight is not accurate. I don't want to be induced early. I am having pains too. Sometimes it gets very difficult to get in and out of bed. Just few more weeks, we have to endure it. We are going for the birthing classes this Saturday.
Anya- I have no swelling till now. Avoid going out in heat. Keep yourself hydrated. I feel your swelling is because of heat. When you are at home keep your leg elevated on a pillow.
Eternidad- glad to hear that your appointment went fine. I have this non stress test every week. It's an assurance that our baby is doing fine.

Just be prepared when you have your cervix checked, it was extremely painful for me! I guess I wouldn't want to wish for another one....:)
As far as swelling, as soon as the heat comes up, I swell up, and when it is cold, I am better, although my fingers look like huge sausages!
ZUZ - I think you should stop wearing your rings!! We were told in the class that one day, you won't be able to take it off, and you don't want to chop it, do you?! I had to let go of my rings, which I love....and shoes too :(

Anya-Thanks for the advice regarding cervix test. Reading it itself was so painful, I don't know how I will be able to bear the delivery pain. I wake up few times a night too to go to the bathroom. When I try to change sides, I get a stabbing pain n the right side and it goes to my pelvis. As you said I can't wait for two more weeks to hold our little joy in my arms.
I have a baby showed next Saturday. Tomorrow we are going to the birthing classes. So e are not supposed to wear any jewelry during delivery? I have put on these green colores glass bangles because my mom said so. I will have to put soap to get it out..as my hands are fat hahaha.

Anya- sorry to hear your cervix checked waspainful, when my doc did mine it wasn't bad at all, uncomfortable but not painful. I am going back in couple more week bc by my original date I am only 35 weeks, then after next appoitment when I will have another u/s I will be going every week and they will be checking my cervix every time too.
I hear you about the epidural, I am going to try to go without it as long as I can but if need it I will get it.
Maria- Good luck with your shower, I am sure you will have tons of fun and also they birthing classes will be good for you too. I don't think it matters if you wear jewerly or not, unless you are getting pretty swollen is just easier for you so they don't get stuck but if not don't worry about it.

Still working, is getting a litlle bit harder but I rather being able to walk and move around so everything comes out well at delivery time. I heard the more active you are until the last minute the easier your labor should be, so will see if it true girls?

Today morning were ready to go the birthing class. I got a call from the hospital saying the class is cancelled due to death in the family of the person who takes care of the class. So I am at home relaxing. They said they will reschedule it. If it's next Saturday, it won't won't work out because my shower. I don't think I will be able to make it. Let's see how it goes.
Eternidad-I plan on breast feeding too. During my last u/s doc said baby is big but they will not induce until 39th week even if the baby is big. I am praying to deliver vaginally, but if the baby gets too big, doc might suggest c-section. Few more weeks to go. I have go for an u/s at 38 weeks.

We had our birthing class today! All I have to say about the whole thing is EPIDURAL! I'm so scared. I'm really getting anxious lately. Baby has been moving around like crazy and, Anya, I feel all those things you feel along with waking up to pee 3-4 times a night! I'm not wearing my ring anymore. I'm glas my wedding band still fits! I just can't wait for baby to get here!
Kaydens furniture arrived but we can't have it delivered since we haven't done anything to the room! We went to Home Depot today to check out some chair railing. We found a really pretty one but we still have wall paper to pick out to place on the bottom half of the wall. I have to make an appt at this place nearby to get more of an idea of designing the baby's room. I'm thinking some kind of beigey paint color, then the nice chair railing, then a very nice, textured, wall paper on the bottom half of the wall. Our bedding is sage and ivory so it'll match that. I saw a cool, striped pattern that I liked. We'll see! Can't wait to do that! I need to pack a bag for the hospital too! I need to go buy some nice pajamas for the hospital stay since I'm sure we'll have lots of visitors. I'm getting SO nervous!!!!
I'm still iffy about breast feeding. I want to try it and I don't. I know the first 6 weeks are very beneficial for the baby but its such a huge commitment!!!!!!! I have no issues with bottle feeding. I guess I have a few more weeks to make a decision!
Eternidad, I'm trying to stay active too. As much as I could anyway. I've been having some ached in my feet and my calves but I still try to take my doggie for daily walks so tht helps a bit. You're doing so great. It sounds like your job gives you more energy than some of us have! I am prety lazy now due to lack of sleep and the fact that I work from my couch! :)

Some women handle pain better than others and some babies are easier to deliver than others. In my opinion I am going to try to do my best but if the pain gets too bad I will ask for an epidural.

Eternidad-Thanks for the assurance. According to the technician it was close to 7 pounds but the doc said it could be 6 pounds as the u/s weighing are always not accurate. I still have 4 more weeks to go according to edd. I have an u/s in two weeks to check baby's growth. I hope it is not too big.
Maria- don't worry 6-7 pounds at your gestational age is not too bad, you will do fine. Baby is going ot be nice and healthy, mine weighted about 6 pounds last week and they said I was almost 36 weeks at that time, so we are kind on the same boat more or less.

Eternidad- Hi there, I still go to work and since I don't have any extra PTO, I will go up until my delivery date....maybe I will leave 1 day before, haha...work is getting harder for me but I don't walk as much as you do at work, just go for a mile or two at lunch or after work with hubby...Im glad that your cervix check wasn't as bad I don't know why mine was a torture?! I don't think my MW will check it again, she said that they won't check anymore up until week 40...she said no need....

My hospital bag is almost done...btw, I also get stubbing pain when change my position at night....

as far as jewerly, you not suppose to wear ANY jewerly when you deliver because of epidural...so I am planning to take everything off before I go to the hospital...
