37 weeks along and blood clot

my sister is 37 week along we just found out she has a blood clot in her groin she was hospitalized put on heparin drip and pain meds what are the risk to her and the baby she is not in labor but at 4 cm

thanks  the dr said that he is full term and they can not do a c-section  because she was put on heparin right a away the test showed today the clot is much bigger the the they thought so now the have to induce her she been on heavy dose of pain meds for 2 day and heparin

I would talk to the OB.  Anytime from 37 weeks on is generally considered full term.  They can check the baby's lung development and take the baby by C-section if they are fine.  If it were me, I think I would have the C-section so I could then focus on my medical needs without worrying about what my treatment would do to my baby.
