5-6 or 7-8 weeks and crampy

Hello all, I had my first Dr. appt. on Thurs. I have gotten pregnant after taking clomid although I was sure the clomid hadn't worked, so I either O'd late or later on my own.  I have never had regular periods.  My last period was Dec. 22 and was induced by progesterone.  I was very surprised to find out that I was pregnant!  I haven't had many symptoms other than slightly tender breasts and some mild cramping from time to time.  After doing an internal my Dr. said that I was probably 7 - 8 weeks but when I had a friend do an unofficial ultrasound, I did not appear to be that far along (maybe 5 weeks).  I am going for an official ultrsound on Tues. to try and figure out my dates.  I am very nervous about all the crampiness and what if I am 7-8 weeks and not developing?  Some opinions would be helpful!

When I was pregnant, I was crampy and I was concerned and the doctor and the nurses kept telling me that being crampy was normal...your uterus is stretching and that can cause crampiness...Unfortunately, I had a mc in my 8th week...HOWEVER...my experience with the cramps doesn't mean that all cramps lead to mc.  Cramps are very normal and I would try not to stress about them...best wishes and congrats on the pregnancy.
