5 weeks no heartbeat?

5 weeks 4 days I had a vaginal ultrasound and they didnt see the heartbeat yet. With my first child they did see it this early. My doctor scheduled appointment for two weeks from now. Is this a normal thing ?

It's way 2 early still:) I had to wait until I was 10 weeks to hear the heart.

This actually happened to me with this pregnancy.  I found out I was pregnant a month after my last period.  I went to the Dr's they couldn't see anything and sent me to a specialist to do a vaginal ultrasound.  I had to go twice and I was so worried that something went wrong but everything is ok. I'm 26 weeks pregnant now. ☺ so in my opinion I think you have nothing to worry about

Normal.  The heart doesn't start beating until mid fifth week, and if you are only one or two days off on when you think you conceived, you might not be exactly 5 weeks 4 days.

That early, yes it's normal.  5 weeks is very early to see a heartbeat.
