I take tums.

For natural methods, it's suggested you don't eat too soon before laying down and by eating smaller portioned meals. We get acid reflux because the baby pushes on the bottom of the stomach which causes the contents, including stomach acid, to go closer to the top of the stomach and the lower part of the esophagus. Eating foods that are bases (not acidic) will also help. Most dairy products will help. Fruity yogurt probably isn't good, since fruits are acidic. Don't let yourself get super hungry either, since then there would only be stomach acid getting pushed up without anything mixed with it to calm down the acidity.

Also, I eat a bowl of cereal with lots of milk about a half hour to an hour before going to bed, which seems to work for me. That also keeps me from waking up in the middle of the night starving.

Milk and Mylanta (if You want to use Mylanta).
Milk worked a blessing with me, I had bad acid reflux and heartburn.
Drinking a glass of milk soothed it pretty much immediately!

I have been the same a Charmii1988.  A glass of milk seems to sooth anything I've been getting.    Sometimes I change it up to a milk shake but thats just because I'm not one for the same thing every day

I use Tums, it is necessarily natural but it is not a serious medication and the Dr. is totally fine with pregnant women taking it. It is a life saver because it works within a few minutes.

I also had it extremely bad and I thought dairy was supposed to help and as I see it did for some woman but heartburn and acid reflux go hand in hand. Dairy will help with heartburn but make acid reflux worse. I learned after a month or so lol I cut out a good portion of it especially near bedtime. My advise is to look up acid foods and stay clear of them as much as possible. Good luck!!!!
