Appointment update!

Well the dr answered all my questions.

She said she's not going to worry about the lack of movement yet. She said kick counts before 28 weeks are pretty much pointless.

I found out that they don't LIKE to do inductions for VBACs, but they DO do them...which kinda made me happy since if I get to the end with no progress, it doesn't mean I'll need another c/s.

The only thing I'm worried about now...when we went for my u/s I was TOLD her head was on my left, and without feeing any significant/big movements while I was there...found out from the dr today that in the report the u/s tech noted that she's BREECH. WHICH thinking on it now, would make sense as to why I feel a roundish hard thing towards the top of my uterus and can feel some strong kicks straight down almost like they're in my cervix...6 more weeks until I'm to the point where Elijah didn't return from with being breech, he stayed from before 33 weeks on to the end...I'm really hoping and praying this little girl flips!!!

We WILL be doing another u/s because of it I'm not sure when. My next appointment will be set up for 4 weeks from now at 31 weeks and then every two weeks from there, and at some point the u/s...that was pretty upsetting to hear that she was breech, and although she's got plenty of time to flip still, I'm just so worried she won't. And scared of having another c/s because I had pain with Elijah's c/s. The ONE thing that scared the h@ck out of me when I went into the operating room was feeling pain while I was in there, and I felt it! I don't remember it now, but it was BAD...I do know that, I was trying to sit up on the OR table...and I've had back pain since the spinal, the lady tried five times and had a guy come in and he got it on the first try, so six times they poked me in the back with that d@mn needle, and I had a spinal headache after...UGH I'm freaking out now!!!

Uhhh nooo! im so sorry.... hopefully this baby flips around and is head down within a week or two..... I know this sounds SO silly but ive read you can "convince" baby to flip the other way by using a flashlight, or (i know sounds nuts) lifting your pelvis so its higher then your head...... lol. Look up some things online that help rotate baby naturally. Seriously i think its the only shot you have..... read up onl;ine about it..... it might help... =)

Another lady gave me advice on it too...there's some yoga position, I'm gonna have to look back at my post to see what she said. But I'm gonna be doing whatever I can try, it is still early and she can still flip. But it would be just my luck to have another breech baby...

I tried all those things when my daughter was breech and nothing got her to turn. I really, really wouldn't worry about her being breech right now since she still has so much room and time to turn. Hopefully your doctor will monitor you closely though to make sure she turns around.

I know the dr is going to be checking. Hopefully at the next appointment she is head down. I'm not going to get myself too worked up about it just yet, but if she was breech at 31 weeks I'd be more worried.

Anyone have a successful version story? I'll probably make a post about it later, but this way I'm not taking up too much space...

Angella~~~I'll be the first to tell you I'm not a big fan of being pregnant, but in the end it's so worth it. My dr actually asked me about b/c today at my appointment and I told her I plan on just using condoms...so she said the running joke with condoms is "what do you call people who use condoms? ...Parents" So I told her if I got pregnant three months after she's born, yeah I'd be a little freaked out but at least six months later...I don't think I'd mind THAT much. I just want to give myself enough time to heal and lose a little weight...I'm all for #3 and 4...right now...

Yeah, I'm not sure though...I'm a worrier by nature, and being pregnant is scary, just because you never know what's going on in there...

Ok so you want successful version stories! I have one! I looked up my old posts so you can see what I said about it right after I got it that way my memories can't change on me trying to recount it now. :)

Thank you!

Yeah, I know how that feels. We tried for a year, with a three month break, so six consecutive months before I got pregnant. You want it so bad every month you think you are...I hope your period doesn't show and you get a positive test!

Thank you for finding that for me! And yes I'm definitely looking for successful version stories. With Elijah I didn't attempt it because I'd had so many BH contractions, and was already dilated 1cm 50% effaced at 33 weeks. I was so scared that I'd go into labor right after and they wanted to flip him BEFORE 35-36 weeks. I did a lot of research online and looked at the statistics on percentage for success and how many babies stayed head down...I just decided with him it was best that I did the c-section.

THIS time around though, I haven't had as many issues as I had with Elijah, and it's been pretty smooth so far. So this time I'm all for attempting a version if I have to. I really do have plenty of time for her to flip, so I'm really trying not to worry so much, but I'd like to get info beforehand just in case. I don't like being prepared, and hearing others' stories will help out a lot!

Just don't give up hope, have faith, and know that it takes time. Stress won't help so don't worry so much!

I know this sounds a little medieval, but i've heard of women actually taking their hands and turning the baby themselves... i know it's weird...but heard that it works... that or prod the baby to move..idk not an expert.

oooo she'll flip. I have a feeling! the EMV or whatever they call it up ther e(External Manual Version) was successful on me...so I hope that if she doesn't flip on her own (I think she will) it'll work for you. Elijah was LONG which is probably why they couldn't turn him...there wasn't enough room.

I'm glad you get another u/s though!!!

Well that's how drs turn them, by using their hands...but I wouldn't feel safe attempting to turn her by myself at home without a drs supervision...I think I'd leave that up to the pros...a lot can happen when they flip them, it's not really really dangerous, but their are risks..I definitely would NOT recommend anyone attempting to manually move a baby themselves...

Ivy~~~I didn't even let them attempt to try to flip him. This time I would, but with him, I'd already been through enough scares and risks and worries...

Alright then I revise my comment...probably the reason he couldn't flip himself was because he's freaking LONG LOL. there we go

Yeah...LOL agreed! I'm sure she will flip, I've been paying extra attention to body parts I find, and I think she's head down right now...she felt transverse earlier...but something was poking out from the roundish shape, and I know she doesn't have an arm sticking out of her head!

I'm excited about the additional u/s part.
