Bleeding and 5 weeks pregnant

I started bleeding last night. The doctor told me to rest and come in Monday. My question is Am I miscarrying or is it just something that happens?  It is not too heavy and no clots yet.

If they are no clots and the bleed is not heavy, it will could just be spotting, which is normal during the 1st tremister. If you are still concerned that you could be miscarraging, seek medical help immediatly.

Yes it is hard to tell.  I have had two miscarriages this year.  The first one at around 8 weeks.  Mine started with some cramping that I thought was just the stretching of ligaments, but then I started to bleed bright red blood.  I went to the doctor who told me to rest up, but because I was such a crying mess he told me to go to the emerg to get peice of mind.  They say that bright red blood is usally not good but the darker blood can be very common. Do you very very best to just rest and stay come.  and trust me I know how hard that is.  But do you best to just be positive.  No point in stressing when you don't know yet.  Good luck.  My fingers are crossed for you:)

It is hard to tell.  Definitely rest up today as that can ease it up.  Bleeding can be normal in pregnancy and your appointment tomorrow will tell you more.  I would not worry at this point unless you start experiecing pain, its get heavy or clots come.  It could be a sign of an upcoming miscarriage but ALOT of womenn have bleeding in early pregnancy and its turns out to be fine.
