I saw my midwife today, and she told me that bleeding after sex is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. The gynecologist took a look and said that everything is fine and healthy. :D
I think its normal to spot a little after intercourse while pregnant. I know I did, but it was just little dots....u said it was quite a bit the 2nd time so definately talk to your OB about that.
I had bleeding after intercourse but that was in the first trimester and it was due to a hemotoma (not sure if I spelled that correctly) but I haven't had any since. My advice is to abstain from sex for 3 weeks or so (that's what my doc had me do) and definitely ask your midwife about it. Most likely it is nothing major, your cervix is really sensitive and full of blood during pregnancy and that could be part of the reason.
have u had an us if your placenta is partially covering ur cervix this could be causing it too probably not but u wanna rule that out via ultrasound
During pregnancy our cervixs are more sensitive. I actually just had that start happening to me about a week ago and was nervous because it was pink blood and I'm 28 weeks. Called my doctor who said that as long as its spotting and I'm not getting super painful contractions to just relax but that if the spotting lasts for over 24 hours than to come in and get checked out. Turns out it is a super common reason to spot during pregnancy.
Thanks very much for your help. :)
my friend had this whilst is wasnt anything to worry about she was told to stop having sex for a few weeks,go toyour doctor sp they can tell you for sure
i would'nt worry to much about it any disturbance can cause bleeding it might even take a day to show witch wll be that brownish color i don't completly agree with sania19 as some women have light bleeding durning there preganacy it can be signs of misscarrage or othe problems if u contuine to c bight pink blood i would call your dr. better to be safe
