Breast/Nipple Tenderness
Okay, I know that this has been brought up before, but I'm bringing it back up LOL. I was having afternoon dull headaches for 6 1/2 days and then yesterday evening I was bending over to pet my dog and noticed my breasts really hurt - I looked at them in the mirror and noticed my nipples were erect (not cold at the time) and they had some little bumps on them that I've never noticed before. My fiance happened to walk in the door and past the bathroom to find me checking out my breasts and he did a double take in the mirror and stated that they look huge - to which I took the wrong way and practicly started crying. Anyhoo - I have never felt this before - never had breast soreness/nipple tenderness before my period (before I get my periods my body is kinda uneventful - no major signs). I'm not gonna even ask if I could be pregnant because I have been doing some research (me being a nurse and all) and found that normally if you never have had this pain before your period you have a good chance of being pregnant. According to my newly done calendar I am 2 days away from expecting period - so will test soon - but my question is this: Is there anything I can do maybe ease the pain a little bit and what the hell is the bumps on my nipples (couldn't find anything out about this)??

my boobs have been hurting a lot and feel much heavier, pinching feelings for a week now just above my pubic hair line, strong need to clean everything and a fullness/pressure just above my pubic bone. any thoughts

Yeah hun - sounds like my kinda pain! This morning they hurt, but they are doing that tingling that tickles a bit...lol. Oh and my God - my aerolas this morning are huge and dark - and yuck. LOL. I haven't had much trouble sleeping through - maybe because I lay on my left side already with a pillow (always slept that way).
If I am pg, then it's gonna be so hard to NOT tell our family - we decided that the second time we would wait until after we got past the 6 week mark and saw the baby - hope I can convince the OB to do a u/s early on - but I have my doubts and think that if I call him to make an appointment they won't make one for 4 weeks or so. Sighs - can't keep my mouth shut that long

Yeah that sounds like pregnant boob syndrome to me (that's my name for it). It's not fun. Mine def. feels like that, it's like a stinging sensation, hard to explain, just hurts like heck.
Mine hurt badly... even without touching, there was constant pain. It wasn't muscle pain either, it was te actual breast tissue, but it was a mix of a stingy pain with a burning pain. It sucked. Now mi nipples are tender to the touch, but no more pain.
They're are really hard, extra perky and they just hurt when you touch them the slightest bit. My fiancee likes them : ), but I won't let him touch - they hurt that bad....I think it hurts the most when I take my bra off.
what kind of breast pain was it? Because a couple of days ago my breast hurt like hell!!! like, it had never hurt like that before... and I am contemplating the possibility of being pregnant.
OMG, I know exactly how you feel. I'm really tiny, (I'm 4' 11") and right now I have double D's - its ridiculous, I think I look like a freak, and they hurt sooo bad. I'd have to say that this would be my biggest pregnancy complaint at this point. It wakes me up some times...and there's nothing you can really do....
Okay thanks for the advice, I'll try that tonight. I hope it's implantation bleeding. Now I want to test LOL. I'm gonna go ahead and do so in the morning on the 12th PRAY FOR ME
One more thing... to help eleviate the pain, make sure you wear a very supportive, almost tight bra. Also, you can use a heat pad (on low) or warm washclothes.

Hey now I have a separate question for you guys - I just peed and when I wiped I noticed that my cm is a little thick but when I looked at it I took a double take because it looked like inside the cm was a scant about of pink-tinged blood - VERY LITTLE, and it wasn't separate from the cm, kinda looked like it was inside of it if you guys understand what I mean. I was having very mild cramps, but that's it and I'm not freaking out but was just wondering if you guys think the mild cramps and that scant about of blood could be implantation bleeding? I've never noticed it before with my first, but then again it seems my body is doing totally different things this time anyways - just wondering - don't mean to be a pest.
Those bumps are glands that secrete a sort of oil over your nipples and aerolas to keep them soft. The veins are also more prominent because during pregnancy, you pump 50% more blood than a non-pregnant woman.

I know how you feel about the m/c and trying imeditally. I miscarried Sep 14, 2007 and 2 weeks later i was pregnant agian. My symptoms began showing up 4 weeks after my m/c. im sorry for ur loss it is hard but like mamma4times said you will have to treat this pregnancy like its own. i am now 16 weeks pregnant and find out what im having on January 22!!!! I haven't heard about the veins on the stomach. I mean I really notice that when I start getting really big. But the road map on the chest is just crazy!! I too like everyone else, am convinced that you are pregnant. Those are all the classic signs. I'm going to dig up the name of the bumps though. I have a pregnancy book right next to me. Aww honey while that is a terrible thing to have gone throug and I am not going to pretend to know what it feels like. I have never had a problem getting pregnant or with pregnancies just deliveries. What I have learned and I'm sure some one will agree when you go into a pregnancy clear minded you body relaxes as well as what your carrying. I had 2 stressful pregnancies just because of the time in my life but my third was a cake walk I actually enjoyed it. At some point to some degree Annie if you are pregnant you have to treat this pregnancy as it's own. So you can focus on you and baby and your body. As soon as you take your test consult your doctor so they maybe can advise you on some steps you can take maybe just rest honey I wish you the best of luck and your welcome. We are all put on this eart for something and I guess my job is to populate the world with beautiful children. It is my cross to bear so be it :)
Ya I know I am. See we actually have been trying even though we probably should not have. I recently had a natural m/c about 4 weeks now ago and we decided to give it a go when I thought I was ovulating and I guess I was right on. At least I hope so. Now I'm even more worried about the fact that I actually might be pg because what happens if because we didn't wait I lose this one too.

Sounds like my husband I didn't think we were we weren't trying and I had only been off my patch for a month not even. I took the test to shut him up. When I tell you the urine hadn't even finished hitting the test when the sign came up!!!! Take the test with him, you know in your heart of hearts your just nervous don't fret!!!
Oh wow. I didn't think it be that early - I'm still kinda grossed out by that, never knew that before - LOL thanks. I hope this means I am, I'm just scared to take a test and be let down I guess. My AF supposed to be here on the 12th - will test that morning or the 13th because fiance can't wait.

HaHaHa- that is so cute honey you are so pregnant!!!!!! When your milk comes in those are like little ducts the milk will come through. I squeeze in the shower and my husband yells at me to stop but I can't help it, it will happen all the way til the end and then it will turn into colustrum. Sorry for your pain :)
Oh my God - as much as it hurts to do so I did give them a little squeeze and the bumps turned really white - nothing like liquid came out but something white was brought to the surface and when I stopped squeezing it kinda went away. Ewwww, what is that???????
It sounds like a definte bun in the oven. If you squeeze your nipples do you see like little white things come through the bumps? With every pregnancy including this one (4) that was always a tell tell sign for me. I've nursed 3 babies so when these things start feeling heavy I knew I was pregnant again. Good luck taking your test tom. it will work out how it was meant to be :)
Glad to know that I'm not the only one. Took a shower and feel okay, but the soreness came back only 5 minutes after taking the shower.
Did anyone ever have (in addition to the tenderness/soreness) like a slight tingling sensation at times? I've noticed once in a while I'll feel like a tingling going down my breast, on both of them but more so on the right. Just wondering!

Annie - if it's any consolation, I know EXACTLY what you're talking about!! I am 4 days away from testing (praying for +++ after a m/c last fall!!) and my breasts have never been more tender/sore. I usually get a bit of tenderness before my AF, but this is ridiculous!! I can't get comfortable enough to sleep, so I'm sooo tired from tossing and turning (which also hurts - lol!!). Just crossing my arms hurts!! It sucks!! I have found that wearing a supportive full-coverage bra to bed helps. Be sure to wear an underwire bra or one similar during the day, and the straps are tight enough to hold the girls up!! Gravity is our enemy.. it pulls them down and makes them hurt even worse! I have little blue veins appearing too, which is freaking me out because if I AM pregnant, it is really frickin early to be having such serious breast issues!! I'm HOPING that it is a good sign though... I didn't have any breast issues w/the pregnancy that ended in m/c last fall. If this means I will have a healthy pregnancy, I will happily suffer through it! Best of luck to you and hang in there... I know how you feel! ;)
LOL - it's okay. I THINK that's what it can be used for or whatever LOL I know I thought it strange too. And thanks - I think I'll allow my hopes to lighten a little bit.......sighs. A couple of days seems to long to wait but Ive got no money.......sighs.
