After giving birth to my son the pain i had in my breast was unbearable so i told my mom to run to the store and buy the cheapest one as a quick fix. she bought the medela harmony, its the only manual pump but it didnt hurt or anything. id recommend it :)
Honestly, you get what you pay for. There's a reason the Medela's are expensive lol.
You know if you qualify for WIC, they'll give you a breast pump for as long as you're breastfeeding
I used the electric lansinoh and it worked great
I forgot why you SHOULD get a pump its good if you breast feed and you have to leave your baby you can pump milk to help mantain the good feeding habbits also sometimes the baby doesnt want to latch and all the milk in your breast makes them hard as rocks and sensitive so you may want to relieve yourself :)
Hayang someone told me yu only get the pump if yer in school or working is that true
Im gonna look into that (WiC providing one!) That would be great!
Thing is I dont know if it works like in the U.S.... because I currently live in Puerto Rico.
Well definitely look into it. If you just contact the local WIC office there, you should be able to get that information. I know there are at least two major WIC offices there.
Just google it(:
Medala worked great for me as well.
Theyre thinking about making puerto rico a state! so then you would be part of the us :))
I like the scent one. It's very comfortable. I used medela last time and was constantly sore.
