I had the same problem. They told me to take my boob and squeeze it while he's trying to latch on. It helps them get more of your nipple in their mouth.
You could also try a nipple shield but could also have the same result as the bottle and he will just want you to use a nipple shield all the time. My daughter would latch and then suckle for about 3 seconds then scream her head off. I offered breast every time for a few minutes before the bottle and within a week she was wanting me and not the bottle.
Do you still have colostrum or is it milk now?
If that doesnt work you can always use a breast pump to pump your milk and store the milk and just convert them into the bottle when its time for little man to eat
Find a lactation consultant in your area who can help you get a good latch. When you know how it looks you'll have a much better chance being able to do it on your own. Look for a La Leche League nearby as well, you can get tips and help and advice from breastfeeding mamas in your community. Don't be super quick to offer the bottle if he isn't latching right away. Keep trying. If he knows that you'll give him the bottle if he hollers enough that's what he'll do - it takes more work to breastfeed rather than to drink from a bottle, maybe he's just being stubborn. Good luck.
