Can I switch prenatal vitamins?

I am 21 weeks pregnant and have been taking the same prenatal vitamin from the beginning.  Constipation has become a huge problem for me and I know there are prenatals with stool softeners in them.  Is it a big deal if I switch my prenatal vitamin halfway through my pregnancy?

No its not a problem, like my dr prescribed me a prenatal with 90mg of iron, 60 is normal. I ve always had low iron levels b4 pregnancy. So when i dont take them and take a flintstone i just take a regular iron pill with it to get my iron in.

You can always talk to your dr about it, or go buy you some over the counter stool softners(docusate sodium is a stool softner and sold at walmart.  senokot/sennagen is a stool softner and laxative in one, helps you go and soften your stool, and is also sold over the counter)

Good luck, and again Congrats on having a Girl:)
