Car seat ?

So I know that the best postion for a car seat should be centered(middle) in Back Seat of your car. Now my question is how Am I going to chooes which one of my kids get to sit in the Middle? I have a 4 door sedan??

Ideally with one child the seat should be in the middle....with more than one I would put the infant behind the DRIVERS SEAT and the other child behind the passenger.  I've always been told that aside from the middle the safest place is behind the driver.  Having one on the side and one in the middle of a small sedan may not allow for proper installation of either seat.

Check your owners manual for your car as well. I took my daughters infant seat to the fire department and my 1999 Bravada does not have a wide enough belt path for her seat to be in the middle. I had no idea! They told me the best place is the middle usually but in my cars case it was unsafe for her to be in the middle. Hope this helps.

good idea, never thought about that.   I guess most people just assume car safety belts are made to fit all carseats.  You should also check to see if your car is fitted for the LATCH system rather than seatbelt use.

im going to be putting my daughter behind my drivers seat when she is born. i have a honda crv and it has a weird middle..oh thats what i need to do is check for the latch system in this one..i had it in my civic when i had my first daughter, i guess that would help determine where i need to put it to be the safest..

do you have isofix car seats then you know it fitter safly and i agree middle is best i have my yougest int the middle and my older daughter behind the passanger seat so it earer to get her in and out at the footpath
