Cramping to the left

hI I just found out that I'm pregnant with our 2nd child. i'm 4w 4d.
youd think this was my first baby cause I completely forget being pregnant. I've been cramping on my left side continuously not extreme just light but its always on my left side. Is this something I should be concerned about?
I dont go and see my dr until next week. but i'm a bit more nervous because the week before i conceived I was using CLA and other weight loss products I didn't think I would get pregnant right away.
any thoughts?

Thanks angelbabies I caved and did go see my DR yesterday. She didn't seem to worried but i have an appointment for next tuesday to see her. I just get so paranoid until I'm farther along. With my last pregnancy she was born at 33 weeks and I know i'm a high risk pregnancy with this baby because of what happened with Peyton (my daughter).

i have this too on my right side, i think i O'd from my right side and normally you get a corpus luteum cyst when in early pregnancy to maintain hormones to keep a healthy pregnancy until your placenta takes over! i just have a dull ache on my right sometimes and i think its that so u may of O'd from ur left side and that could be where the pain is coming from! at about 10 weeks i should stop! if it gets very sharp or u have spotting i would call the dr but i would tell ur dr anyway just so she/he knows about it :)

Thanks Ladies so much for your thoughts. Honestly I'm feeling better today. I read up that it is normal to have cramping on the side like that cause of the luteum cyst. apparently it lets progesterone out for the baby and will eventually dissolve. I have my first appointment with my Dr. Next tuesday but if the pain gets worse i will for sure be getting things checked out.

Sounds like a corpus luteum cyst.  Usually it's nothing to worry about and will resolve itself by 10-12 weeks. It's just the cyst that forms when the follicle bursts and releases the egg, it seals itself up and doesn't drain all the way.  They can get quite large and painful, but that's not the norm.  Generally they are small and cause sharp, shooting pains or cramping feelings.

I had the same pain in the beginning of my pregnancy. Everything turned out okay. I have cysts so I know what they feel like. Which is what mine turned out to be. I was using One A Day's Women's Metabolism vitamins and I started losing weight and one day I took one and it made me severely dizzy. I didn't think anything of it... I was pregnant and didn't know it lol....

I'd call the doctor and ask them what you should do. Explain the pain and what not. Still too early to see anything on an ultrasound I'd think so maybe it's just a cyst or something.
