Determining cycle after m/c

So I had my D&C on April 18th. I didn't start bleeding until the afternoon of 21st. I only bleed less than 24 hours and then very very light brown discharge for a few days.  May 2nd I had sever pain in the left side of my abdomen thinking it was ovulation pain I saw ewcm once when wiping.   Now that it's the 12th I've had bad pain on the right side all day and I've had ewcm again all day this time.

Do you think I ovulated twice this cycle?  I don't think I have ever done that.  I've only been charting my cycle for about a year now.

My main question is what day do I determine is day 1 of cycle. Would I go by April 18th when the D&C was done or should I go by the 21st when I started to bleed even though it was very minimal bleeding??

Very confused

False alarm I guess I just wiped pink cm. I still haven't seen anything else. I was so hopeful that it had started.  :(

I'm SO VERY confused now.

I just had ewcm YESTERDAY (monday) sorry I work grave yard my days get a little confused. and I started AF tonight well actually I guess it's 3am Wed.

Still a little weird to have AF so close to ovulation or what I thought was ovulation. I guess the pain friday before last was the true ovulation and the pain I had sunday afternoon was something else.

It's deff not normal though I have no cramps and normally I am in so much pain I'm taking ibuprofen every TWO hours.  If AF turns out to be like this from now on I will be one VERY happy lady!!

My Dr said that it would be 4-6 wk and after having the ovulation pain last friday I thought that I would be 4 wk. now it's looking like it's gonna be more like the 6 wk point.  Since I defiantly o'd this week.  but the pain was on the other side this time.  I'm not sure if I ovulated twice. The pain was more intense than I have ever felt.

Has any one ever had worse ovulation pain after a m/c than normally?

i had a D&E on 3/3 and that was CD1 for me...my first cycle was 36 days long...the second cycle was down to 29 days...im currently on my 3rd cycle since my mc

its very common to have a longer first cycle and then after your body is healing and trying to find its way back to normal again...takes a different amount of time for everybody

After my m/c it took me 8 weeks (52 days) to get my period! So yeah, your cycle is probably longer than usual.

I'm having the same problem.  I miscarried naturally April 1st and I still haven't had a period yet.  It's been 43 days ( 6 weeks, 1 day).  I don't know what's going on.  This week I kept feeling like af was coming, but no sign of it yet.  What's so funny is, my boobs are usually really sore before I get af, but they aren't sore at all.  I'm hoping I'm preggo.

I was told after my D&C (March 24) that it could be anywhere from 4-12 weeks after  D&C before I started to get periods again depending on when levels went back to 0 etc etc. I got my first period 5 weeks after the day of my D&C.

It's more of a wait and see thing then anything.

It is very confusing! I think you're supposed to count your D&C as cycle day one since, it's beginning a new cycle.

And your first cycle here is going to be a little messed up. I don't know why you bled 3 days after the D&C. I hope someone has more insight on this for you!
