Ectopic and painful periods

I had an ectopic pregnancy approx. two yrs ago.  My actual tube ruptured and the tube is now gone.  I have been having severe pain with my periods and Im worried that something isnt right.  What advice do you have for me.  I have had two normal, perfect pregnancies prior to the ectopic and my menstral cycles have always been very regular and med flows.  I am a 34 year old woman wanting to have anouther child with no luck..Please help.

i had an ectopic rupture about 6-7 weeks ago, and am on my first period since then. it is regular flow, but has lasted 8 days so far. is this normal?  i have had some pinching as well, not like cramps, but sharp little pains. i might be in the same boat as you, maybe scar tissue? i don't know, but i hope it goes away soon, so we can start trying again.

Thanks for the advice.  I had no idea that  it could be scar tissue.  so what ended up happening too you with the baby implanting in the scar tissue?  How did you find out about the scar tissue and how long after your rupture did you get preg?

Maybe you have some scar tissue and adhesions? I had a ruptured tube also. After that getting pregnant in the right spot was HARD! I had tons of scar tissue from the surgery. It was around my uterus where the tube was. Whenever I got pregnant, the baby would impLant in the scar tissue (in the inside corner of uterus- bad) You should see your ob/gyn and see if they can figure anything out for you.
