I know some insurances have a waiting period to make sure it's your best decision. Here in CA I knew of a girl who was 22 with 3 kids and got hers done after waiting 30 days cuz she had family pact program.

In texas you have to have three or more kids or you have to be over the age of 25, or if your spouse wants it to be done then you can get it done which i think is really messed up cus he isnt the one who has to carry the child for nine months i am. Lol

I am assuming so...I seriously get so annoyed they Keep asking! I just have read about a lot of woman having bad side effects after having it done and its not like normal birth control where if it effects you negatively you can just stop to make sure it is the b control and not something else. To perminate forme. Now if it prevented pregnancy and you would never have a period again I might give it a chance ;-)

I would ask your ob, cause some states do have certain laws for it. Like I'm in CA I'm 24 and this is my 3rd child. I'm having a tubal cause 1: we don't want anymore kids, 2: my body cannot handle more c sections or pregnancies. So the dr agreed its the right move

I know here in PA, you have to be 25 or under with three or more children. That goes for men and women. That info is a few years old, not sure if it has changed, but last I knew that was the requirement in PA
