My problem is since I was 14 years old , my hair start to becoming gray (only in back of my head) , however my natural hair color is dark brown. Now my I have brown hair in front and gray hair in back of my head . I hate it. lol
hey. I dye my hair and I'm 22 weeks but ur not suppose to use dye with henna in it as it can affect baby. So check ingredients 1st to make sure there is no henna in it. I wanted to go dark brown but not yet found 1 I can use so I went red instead lol.
thank u ladies , then i may go with just highlight :)
You can dye it after the first trimester, so you're safe, but make sure you try to use the most natural and low- or ammonia- free dye you can find. It will say on the box. I dyed my hair in the 2nd tri with my son, and I may dye it in the 2nd tri with this pregnancy. You just have to make sure the room is super ventilated.
But AnnieBrooke had a good suggestion, to err on the side of caution you could always just do highlight treatments if it makes you nervous.
My RE counseled against it, but I did think that was overly cautious. You might go with just highlights or lowlights during pregnancy, rather than a whole-head treatment.
thanks Ashley for ur quick response :)
lisa i am not a professional but i am a hair stylist im pretty sure it is safe for u to color your hair but however it is not safe for you to smell the fumes from coloring your hair.
