Hcg level and Bleeding

Ok so on this past Friday I went to the Dr. and go a positive that I am pregnant.Well Friday night I started bleeding. So I went to the ER and they did all kinds of blood work.My HCG level was a 135. So I came back home the bleeding stoped.I thought I was ok. Well on Monday August 2nd the bleeding came back heavier this time. I went and had my levels checked today the 3rd and they are only 229. I am scared to death and I dunno what to do. Will the bleeding stop? Am I going to miscarry? Why me?Why now? Is there a chance for the baby to make it? I know I have alot of questions but I am lost and no one will give me a straight answer. I have to go back Thursday the 5th to b checked again am I wasting my time?

Ok thanks you guys..I am still scared to death. But this morning when I get up the bleeding has came to an almost halt. So maybe a good sign..Fingers crossed. Which if so then I think it came from intercourse. So I am hoping when I go back tomorrow that everything has went up.As long as they keep climbing its a good sign right? Someone said it could have been I was trying to get pregnant with twins. You ever hear anything like that?

Well the problem with a miscarriage is that they are very common, and can happen for little or no reason. Even if you've had previous healthy pregnancies. At this point the only thing you can do is wait to see. If the bleeding is bright red and heavy, it's not usually a good sign, but things can turn around. For now try not to do anything strenuous and relax as best you can.

Ok so as far as the bleeding is concerned its just bright red and I have to wear something cause its alot. I am not sure how far I am but I am thinking I am 4 wks.I have had kids before and this never happened. Why now I wonder?  I started bleeding the day after intercourse and it hasnt stopped yet.Which what the Dr said was, That it could be a miscarriage or it could be something about a multiple pregnancy. I dunno all I know is that she said it didnt look good so here I am alone in bed crying my eyes out because I am unsure of what to do or why this is happening.

No one can actually answer these questions because it's impossible to know. We can't read the future. It can go either way at this point. It's not a waste of time to be checked again because they need to know if your levels are still rising or dropping. What kind of bleeding are you having? Is it bright red? Brown, pink, does it have clots? Are you cramping? How heavy is the actually bleeding? Does it require pads, or is it only when you use the bathroom.

I am going to give you a straight answer.

In about half of the cases where a women bleeds during pregnancy, a miscarriage results.  Heavy bleeding, bleeding with severe cramping and/or clots are usually ominous signs.  A little lite spotting usually results in a positive outcome.

Your HCG levels are not quite rising at the expected rate.  That along with the bleeding could indicate you are about to have a miscarriage BUT there is also a possibility everything will turn out ok because your levels did rise.  It really is a 50:50 situation right now.

Getting checked in a few days is the right thing to do.  Im sorry you are going through this and dont have any definitive answers right now.

How far along do you think you are?
