Heartbeat

I'm 12w1d and had my first birth center visit. I'm so excited that we heard the baby's heartbeat through the Doppler at 130 beats per minute. I was told I can only gain 20 lbs because if I gain more than that my bmi will be too high to deliver at the birth center. I've always had weight problems so this will be a new challenge. Anyone else get told this?

Thanks, it's gonna be hard but I really want to deliver at the birth center so I have to try my hardest.

Congrats on hearing the heart beat.  I remember that moment :) im also not the skinniest person I've gained 16 pounds and im only 6 months so I know I need to slow it down.
