Help me out

On the 16th of January I had sex with a friend without protection. I had finished my birth control pack on the 6th, and ended my period on the 10th. I was supposed to start another birth control pack on the 13th but I started it late because I couldn't get the next three packs until the 16th, so I started the pill on the 16th in the later morning the same night I had the intercourse. I started the pack and took two pills for two days and then regular after that from then on. I neglected to take the pills at the same time everyday but I wasn't active from then on since the 16th. I was supposed to get my period on the 4th of this month - (February). I had some spotting in the beginning of this month till the 4th or 5th, it's now the February 14th and I have yet to have a real period. I wanted to get anyones opinion on how likely the chance is that I am pregnant.

Up late again, I was touching my lower abdomen (past my belly button) and It feels different, like when I press it I feel pain. I'm touching it in the way that a doctor would when you go to get a physical or something, but it causes mild pain and I feel the need to urinate but that should be a given. Anyways I've never felt that before so now I'm really freaking out, god I'm a pain.

I am sure the other ladies are right, its probably just a hormone imbalance, but just in case test with first morning urine later this week and keep us posted. :-)

Thanks so much, to you and everyone else helping me out. I'm sure there's going to be more posts from me because right now I don't have a job so I'm home being paranoid and paranoia leads to the internet and google and you know how that works haha.

it's a hormone imbalence
i'm on the depo shot n it does nothing but mess wit ur hormones bad
and while on the depo i got a lot of spottin but no real periods
i havent from day 1
so it sounds pretty normal to me
but like the others said just to be sure
take a preg. test!

I think I've also been using the bathroom more, maybe it's just because i'm watching for it but I also drink a lot during the day, like today i had 7 beverages today and i feel like i've been going more often and i was reading 5 week pregnancy symptoms and it said peeing a lot, heightened sense of smell ect.. so I don't know I know the best thing to do is to get an HPT or go to the doctor.. gosh I'm so paranoid/worried I need some reassurance.

Yeah, that's why I was concerned. I've had some really bad cramping today, on and off but that could be pregnancy or expecting a period. I don't know I'm trying to get to my gynecologist but making an appointment has been hell. I'll keep you updated and you can educate me with your personal opinions, that'd be great.

If it's a hormone imbalance, and your not on the pill, you may still not bleed. I'm wondering if your pregnant cause of the light bleeding(maybe implantation?)

Take a test this week to see. And then if it's still neg. request a Quantative BetaHCG test from your Dr. and an ultrasound. cause if you are pregnant you may be about 5-6weeks and may be able to at least see a dark spot.

I have discontinued the pill until I can take it again and I still haven't gotten a period and all I had this month was the light bleeding around the 4th and 5th but no real period since  the 3rd of January. I mean if it's hormone imbalance but I've stopped taking th pill would that cause me to continue not bleeding or bleed? Thanks for any answers.

Good luck to you. SOunds like hormones imbalance from the pills not being taken properly. I wish you the best.

Well my period are really off, and I wasn't taking them right stupidly. I'm still worried about it and a lot of other things so I'm going to my Gynecologist. I bled a little bit around the time I was supposed to get my period but I didn't get a full pledged period. It was light and on and off. Like spotting but it wasn't brown or pink it was red. I'm going to take a PT anyways.

dont you have a period though on the off week? If you do normally and didnt this month then I would test for sure. My pills regulated me extremely well, even if I messed up somewhere during the month.

Congrats on the baby on the way, my sister is expecting as well. I've been having lower back pain and neck pain, along with what I think is muscle aches and a head ache I don't know if that could be a associated with the hormones as well.

I agree, about the messed up hormones. But you may wanna take a pregnancy test over the next week or two.

(and next time use a condom, esp. if you don't want to get pg. right now.)

You probably just screwed up your hormones because of jumping around with the pills. Messy hormones=no period.
