How long did it take you?

I'm sure this has been asked before but I don't wanna go back and find one. And we pry have different ladies now! I also can't make a poll. So comments work!

How long were you trying before you got pregnant?

I'm going on to our 7th month as soon as AF arrives....

I was pregnant first try/cycle with both of mine....and my m/c was conceived while on BC pills...I know how lucky I am to have been blessed enough to get my BFPs without a lot of heartache.

It will happen girl remember to enjoy it...and have faith in yourself and your body <3

1-2 years is the average for a healthy woman with no fertility issues to conceive so don't give up hope!

I tried for 6 months and nothing. A dr. Suggested I go on birth control for two months. I did and then I got off and this first month off I got pregnant. I really hope you get your BFP. Maybe try the BC for a couple of months. It took the pressure off me and DH. It was a nice break. I think not being stressed for two months may have helped us. Not sure how it happened but hope my story helps you. I'm 26 so I never thought it would be hardto get pregnant. Good luck lady. :)

I wasnt trying.  I had stopped taking my BC pills because I was working alot and forgot them at home. I had planned to start again the next month but found out I was pregnant when my period never came.  At 12 weeks, though unfortunately, found out it was a blighted ovum

My husbanda nd I will start TTC in November as long as all goes well with my next cycle (should be here around Nov 3).  I dont expect to get pregnant so fast again since now i actually want it... But I really am hoping!

It took me 10 months. It felt like a lifetime :) The month before I conceived, I started acupuncture and took some supplements. Something finally clicked and we got a BFP on our 8th wedding anniversary.

I've been married 11 yrs, we didn't "protect" ourselves against. Just figured it would happen naturally. Now it's 6 plus yrs later and I have no child. Had surgery for endo, polyp and cyst on fallopian tube in June of this yr and now praying since everything is "fresh" in there it will happen soon. :)   Good Luck!!

Honestly the first time we weren't even trying and it happend which resulting in A M/C and then the second time I got pregnant 3 months after the M/C again not trying but they say after birth and after a M/C you are very fertile so I guess that could explain the 2nd pregnancy. Which I am now happily almost 21 weeks! =)

Took us a bot over 18 months or so to get a sucessful pregnancy. I'm 12 (almost 13) weeks along now. The on again.off again birth control method did NOT work for us. For us it took provera, clomid, misscarriage, hsg test, vitamins, and then TONS of prayer for it to work for us. Seriously, you don't know how many people prayed for this!

Hope it works out for you hun! Keep trying and start looking upwards for answers. :)

With DS I wasn't trying, wasn't preventing and we got pregnant the first month. This time around I got off the pill after 2 1/2 months and it took six months for AF to get back to "normal", we tried the first three months, stopped for three, and then six months later I got pregnant.

You should look at my journal about "warrior sperm". I almost swear by this now. With DS I was gone for four weeks, and with this baby DH had just come home after I think it was almost three weeks, and I got my BFP that cycle...

http://www.     medhelp    .org   /user_journals/       show/167341/      Warrior-sperm?personal_page_id=861177

There's the link. In the journal it says I was starting AF, and I was, but that was while DH was gone, it was the fact that he was gone, and I got a BFP during the cycle when he returned...

i've been ttc for 3 years 3 months and no child, had adhesions removed from my tubes and been told only a 5% chance of conceiving on my own, my best chance is IVF which i've got another 2 years to wait for.

It will happen when you least expect it, i know it's hard but the more you think about trying the more emotional it gets every month you see a BFN.  Enjoy trying and try not to turn it into a chore, it will happen :)

DH and I started trying in May 2007 and it was June of 2008 before I ever got pregnant.  Then it took another six months from that miscarriage to get pregnant in January of 2009 then another 15 months to get pregnant in July of 2010.  It's been 2 months between that pregnancy and this one.

Give it time...I know how hard it is.  It's going on 4 years in May for us and we don't have a baby yet..we're hoping this one makes it.

First time I got pregnant that same month, had a mc. Then started again the month after and didn't get pregnant for 6 months. Took 3 months off and went on bc. Then got pregnant the second month off birth control. This time around I'm at 6 months and counting.

DS was one time not using protection! Oops! LOL!

DD was a total of 10 months, but I guess only 7 of those months would actually count. (They put me on BCP for the first 3 months, so I would get my cycles back from being on the depo shot).

I'm 10dpo now, and this is my 5th month TTC. This month is also the first month we used preseed. So, I'm hoping preseed did the trick! I'll know in about 5 more days....

When I got pregnant DH and I weren't really even trying, we just weren't preventing. We were newlyweds and really enjoying it. I honestly didn't think I would get pregnant because of all the statistics about it taking up to a year of trying for normal, healthy women. Then I had a m/c at 8w4d. We haven't started trying again yet, but I'm afraid that once we do, I won't get pregnant as easily as I did the first time. Hopefully by Dec/Jan we will have health insurance again and we can start trying. Since getting pregnant and having a m/c, being pregnant and having a baby is all I can think about.

I was on the shot before TTC this time around too. But instead of going on bc I took Fertility Blend for the first month after my last shot wore off. It worked great! I started my period 1 week after I started taking it and have had 25-28 day cycles since. I've charted my BBT the last two cycles and I'm certain that I'm O'ing as well.
