How many ppl actually showed up to your baby shower?

This is our 4th baby and I kind of don't want a baby shower just because of the fact that most of my family never shows up my grandma and grandpa both passed away and they were my real parents my so called dad always has excuses my supposed mom I've seen maybe a handful of times in my entire life and that's basically my side of the family.. most of my husband's family lives out of town or they don't speak to each his parents. and friends always say they'll come but never really do we do have people that show up I would usually say its like 20 people but is that too little for a baby shower? Would I be better off not having one?

If you want, you can invite the people that you can count on showing up just to save some heartache and money.

Something is better than nothing. Invite them, if they show great.  If not, that's fine. :)

I'm pregnant with my 4th and won't be having a shower. I was pregnant last year with my first girl and literally 4 people showed.. I was hurt and upset.

I have 14 ppl at my shower (including children) and I still got some good stuff. It's a chance to celebrate your little one, every baby deserves to be celebrated :) I only got a handful of things but I was still very grateful and it helped a bunch! Good luck :)

I've always heard you only have one shower for a boy & one for a girl, any boys or girls after you don't have one. Have you had one for all yo kids ?

I would still have it.  20 people sounds like a good number to me.  I'll be happy if 20 people show up to mine. :/ It's Sunday, and I'm worried no one is going to come...

I definitely think I got a lot of good things though I had pampers to last me for at least I would say two months plus an endless supply of wipes but its just the fact that sometimes I feel stupid having a big party and no one shows up is there a way to keep it really small and low key?
