It's supposed to be fresh pineapple :) didn't work for me though!!!!
You can see if you will be dialated enough for them to break your water, that is a natural way to induce!
Thank you tomorrow is the day. I have had sex had my nipples stimulated and ate about 5 cans of Pineapple I have walked and I have been rolling on that darn ball like there is no tomorrow so I would say he is not going to come out without help. I can say I am so upset about having to have any drugs to induce me. I hope all goes well will let you all know...
circle your hips on the ball, it should help baby drop deeper into your pelvis. i was 1cm over 2 weeks ago, havent been checked since so dont know about progress. im 40 weeks today and by god i know what you mean!! this is my second and i had my first at 39 weeks + 3, i feel my body has forgot what to do!! im scared about the induction part too but baby wont come unless they are ready... argh!! i must have walked about 3 miles in total yesterday, iv tried everything + had everything labour-related accept contractions/ braxton hicks that stay. pineapple wont work unless you eat about 7 at a time. sex is ment to soften the cervix, if you are comfortable enough for it. best idea is to walk and walk but its so disheartening when it doesnt do much!! at least friday is only 2 days away if it did come to it
I wish I could help you, but unfortunately until baby is ready to come nothing short of induction is going to make him/her. My last two were stubborn as well (my 5th and 6th delvieries) My doc and I agree to inductions for both since mine were VBAC's and the hospital and other doctors around here are very anti-VBAC. The first was a pitocin induction, the 2nd we just broke my water. Keep walking, keep bouncy. Maybe take a really bumpy car ride, have sex. Even if you can just dialate enough for your doc to break your water it will kick start things and will still be a natural birth, no drugs involved if you choose not to. Breaking my water worked exceptionally well, From the time he broke my water until I gave birth was about 8 1/2 hours. Unfortunately my sac didn't completely rupture the first time and we had to do it again halfway through or it probably would have happened MUCH faster.
Ya know never, since this isn't your first baby it could literally happen at a moments notice. Good luck! It's so frusterating when they get too comfy and don't wanna come out!
