How to stop breastfeeding??

After my son was born, I tried breastfeeding but not long after he stopped opening his mouth wide enough so I couldnt get a good latch. I switched to formula but my breasts are now engorged & when they get bad they literally drip colostrum, theyre so sensitive to touch & it gets to the point where it causes my uterus to have severe cramps where I cant move or anything (I googled the cause & pumping made the pain go away). Earlier I went to change my nursing pads & they were completely soaked & I had colostrum dripping down my belly. How can I make this stop? Or how long will it take for them to go down

They told me cabbage leaves will help dry up milk. Just put them in your bra

If u want to dry ur milk up just take some over the counter allergy medicine. It has antihistamines in it and that drys up ur milk. I took the dollar general brand when my son turned 1 and switched to cow milk.
