Hypotension in pregnancy

HI there,
I am 32 years old and have had hypotension for many years. I know this as I was frequently tired and the doctor said it was because my blood pressure was so low and prescribed me efortil which did help but I used it very sparingly. I then bought a monitor to see my blood pressure whilst at home. On a good day it's 90 over 60 but on a more dizzy day it can fall to 80/50 and once it even went to 70/40 at which point all I could do was lie in bed for two days as I felt like I was very drunk without touching a drop of alcohol. That being said my symptoms of the occasional dizzy spell and tiredness was more of a nuisance than a serious concern but I have just found I am pregnant and am feeling very dizzy and am worried as I have read your blood pressure falls during pregnancy and as it's so low anyway I'm seriously concernned about what's going to happen to me.
I am between 5 and 6 weeks and am worried this is going to get worse. I hate feeling dizzy. It makes me very panicky.
Is there any medication I can take to boost it or any other measures?
I will really appreciate any advice you have to offer.
Kind Regards,
Emily.

This is something you need to discuss with your doctor.   There are certainly treatments for low blood pressure that can be taken during pregnancy.

Usually blood pressure drops during the first trimester but rises back to pregnancy levels by the 2nd trimester.
