I am 52 and pregnat! My son is 31. My husband and I are shocked but very happy.

I am 22 weeks pregnant. My regular MD told me that I was not pregnant. However I am. My baby is growing and kicking. Other people also feel the people moving and see it moving through my top. Can a uterine cyst has the baby.? My son is 31. I was told he was a cyst. When I went for pre-opt and a second opinion I found out that I was opregnant. Had I listened to the first doctor I would have never had my son! Is baby aspirin or regular aspirin safe to take during my pregnancy? I feel great. I have pains in my hip, sometimes. I am so happy otherwise! Please advise.

Congradulations!!!  As for the asprin, do not take it...the other gals on here are right, pretty much the only pain reliever you can take is tylenol...however in certain situations if you have significant pain, the doctor will give you vicodin, or percocet, but not for any extended periods of time.  Only for a little bit.  Asprin is a blood thinner, therefore very risky especially in the first trimester, becuase that's when the risk of miscarriage is the highest.  If you are on asprin therapy for cardiovascular problems, then your doctor may continue your asprin, but just to be safe, I would definately recommend not taking it until you visit your physician.  Good luck to you, and if you have not already, go see your doctor asap....

Don't take aspirin, it may lead to pregnancy complications. Don't take the risk, in particular as your pregnancy is somewhat of a miracle. Good on you.

Did you take a pregnancy test? You need to make sure via a pregnancy test (preferably a blood test) and sonogram.

Tylenol is the only safe pain reliever and baby aspirin shouldn't be taken without your doctor's permission.

Congrats on your pregnancy that is amazing :)  I was told by my obgyn that it is safe to take baby tylenol and regular tylenol but nothing other than that.  Hope that helps :)
