I am officially fired from doing housework.....
My god.... I have been having some troubles the past month with carrying laundry baskets up the stairs and down the stairs. These stairs suck! They are too close together... Doesn't help that my feet are gigantic! I was a size 11 and now am a size 12.....UGH! Anywho....So this morning, I told DH to make sure I don't miss a step. Well.... I got to the top of the stairs and missed a step the two laundry baskets full of clothes fell down the stairs, and I slipped and caught my self by the rail! So I didn't fall! I was hanging. Ahaha...Anywho my husband freaked and told me I'm not aloud to carry the baskets anymore...So I said fine bring them to the washer so I can start them! He does so, and I start it, and I go on to start cleaning....
I'm trying to mop the kitchen floor, laundry rooms floor, and bathroom. And well it's one of those swifter things. So being as how I forgot that I was wearing the wrong shoes to be doing that, I slip. And my husband freaks again! I mean I was done, just trying to get the heck outta the rooms. And so I go to vacuum.... and my vacuum pretty much goes up into flames, not even kidding... SO my husband comes up, and i'm kind of freaking because I don't know what is going on today with all this cr ap. He tells me I am fired from doing housework.
He tells me to go shower, get ready to go and he has a surprise. I do so.
We then proceed to get into the car and go, and he dropped me off at this spa and said he'd be back in a hour in a half. Haha he paid for a pregnancy massage, and a sea wrap thing. He is scoring some brownie points...So he comes and gets me, and I walk in the house, he had bought a new vacuum and did 3/4ths of the laundry! Kitchen was spotless, and the bathrooms were as well! Major brownie points!!!
To top it off, he made me lunch and told me everyday he will do the cleaning until, I am 4 weeks after baby is born. This is just incase I have surgery afterwards, which I may be having. So I am fired! LOL
What was totally unexpected is he gave the kids a bath, and he has never done that before! Ahaha he even told me how hard it was, and I laughed! He told me he is working on finding a babysitter so we can go on a date this week! Awww...he is so sweet!

Well, today would mark the day I'd go into labor if I was you LOL.... But at 36 weeks they don't stop you from going into labor, so you know I don't think it's wrong at all! As long as your not induced early, I think it's perfectly fine! If your water breaks, there isn't much you can do! Of course if your already in labor and they decide they need to break your water, then it happens too! Hehe Can you take tylenol at all? If you can, i'd try that just to help!!
I hope i make it closer to 37 weeks too...that would be awsome..it would be great to go just pass 36 too..at least the baby would be more develpoed and stuff...i hope its not wrong for me tofeel this way but i almost want the baby now...im so excited and jjust thinking the baby might come makes me soo happy!! ( although he/she needs to cook more) i guess it dont make me a bad mom just that im tired of being pregnant....the pains are almost unbearble now!! OHHH DEAR!! But i would deff deal with it for another bit if the baby wants to stay in there!!
Rosa- no worries, your not crashing in! The fibernectin thing is a preterm labor test, maybe I have the name wrong lol... but that sound like some fluid!! Holy smokes! I'd ask. Tell them your leaking some and "worried" lol. I don't think it's crazy that you think it'll be soon, it sure sounds like it. I hope you can atleast make it closer to 37 weeks since thats when they consider you term, that way the baby wont have to spend extra time in the hosptial!!!

AWWWW.....he is such a sweetie......mine would be the same way, even though he says he wouldnt i know him. Espcially in the new house and it has an upstairs (although right now i live downstairs cause im not ready to move upstairs cause i really dont have alot of stuff. But you're hubby is a sweetie.
well actually i know it wasent peee because...call me crazy and sorry for the tmi but....lol...i had a mirror down there and i was shaving...and i seen some drip out..but it wasent clear it was kinda cloudy like!! But it was water like..i was thinking for a min that maby it could just be discharge but it was afull watery!! Buut like i said it was cloudy like..not clear so i dunno what it is..they dont do that test down here until your like 38 weeks or soo!! Soo i guess thats a nooo but i can always ask..if they say no oh well at least i tried...He did say the baby is a good size and that he/she was down more...i am still having pain and i just really have the feeling im going soon!! That crazy?? lol Sorry ashiepooh im totally crashen in on your post!! lol...and i relize i just said but alot in this post!! HAHAHHA
You know Rosa, (I was actually about to post a thread asking about you) hehe umm the sex, could have helped it along, but it could very well be the baby dropping more and getting ready! I would definately ask them to do that test to check if your going in to labor in the next 2 weeks. The fibronectin test, I think that's what it's called! Cause if your leaking fluid that will tell! But you know, if could be urine also. Sometimes it will just leak. It's crazy! I hope they give you some more answers tomorrow!

AWEEE very very sweet guy you got there!! Be carefull walking around and sstuff you dont want to fall and hurt yoursefl!! As for my update! My doc did not check me of hook me up..he is sending me for a nst tmorrow morning because the baby isnt moving as much but he says the heartbeat is fine!! Im thinking its beccuase the baby has moved down further into my pelvis! So baby is getting ready and thats why i feel so much pressure and stuff!! So maby tomorrow if im having contractions they will show on the monitor so i dont feel like im stupid and dont know if im in labour of or not!!! lol....im starting to think im leaking fluid so i might get them to check that tomorrow toO! Do you think the sex i had the other night could have brought all this on!!

Ladies, careful with those stairs. I hate the ones in my house. They are so small and close together. This time around my husband has to bring laudary basket up and down. I had an accidend a few years back i felt down the stairs and caused me to loss our baby (i was only 5 wks). Well now with this pregnancy, we're really careful:)

I think I would prefer to fall up the stairs instead of down lol... I was 2 steps from the top, and that thought had crossed my mind while the baskets went down the stairs...I was like I could have just fell to my knees or something up the two steps, less painful then going down about 16 steps...
I hate waiting for things to be done. It'll drive me insane when I can't do anything. Like bedrest omg... Just being inactive is annoying to me. LOL So maybe i'll sit outside in the cold and watch the grass grow, LOL....
I asked my husband what the heck am I suppose to do, and he said I can only cook if I want, and throw clothes in and out of the drier! LOL I looked at him like he was insane!
I guess I sort of need to become lazy....this will be hard!
Avanaar- while I was hanging on the rail your journal popped into my head about you falling...I was like...OMG I can't fall, she hurt her ankles so bad and I so do not want to do that, I need my ankles to drive!!!! LOL You really need to be careful going up and down your stairs!

Your husband is a sweetie! That sounds like something my DH would do! Very considerate! Consider yourself lucky - not everyone is lucky enough to have a DH that would do things like that!

I had a 'stair' mishap last month. One of my fears was falling down the stairs while I was pregnant. Well, I'm always carrying the laundry basket up and down the stairs. That day I had just got done talking to hubby who was almost home, so I grabbed the laundry basket to throw some clothes in. As I reached the bottom of the stairs, for some reason I thought I was at the bottom. I missed the very last step, thinking to myself as I did so, "Duh, stupid, you still had one more step."
I can't remember the fall itself, just the before and after. I sat on the floor at the base of the stairs rocking and crying 'cause my ankles hurt *bad*. Not even 30 second later, hubby walked thru the front door and I yelled for him. He ran down the stairs freaking. He told me I wasn't allowed to carry stuff down the stairs anymore.
Unfortunately, I still *do*. I don't know how I'm supposed to get anything in the house done if I'm constantly waiting on people to do it for me. Hubby's at work, Son's at school. I'm just a lot more careful now when I carry things on the stairs. I go a lot slower and I make sure I'm able to hold the railing (or I lean on the wall! lol).
I'm glad yer okay tho and you didn't have any major accidents!! And I'm glad you got a nice relaxing day at the spa and your house was clean when you got back!! =D Yay!!
