haha... My hubby laughs at the waddle I'm starting to develop. I had one of those "rocking" situations already and I'm not that big. Carlos saw that too... he grinned.
My husband thinks it is hilarious that I cant get out of bed without rolling off. We have this feather bed cover that is like 5 inches thick and you sink right into it. I have to literally roll out of bed onto my knees to get out of it. I have thought about taking the cover off but I dont think that I will be able to sleep.
oo a feather bed cover sounds so comfy.. Right now we sleep on a matress on the floor (we have slept like this for over 2 1/2yrs) since we got married.it sucks. I bought a memory foam topper that's like 1 1/2 in. thick and it helps.. but I doubt it'll help much when i'm bigger.
Luckily I can get a Serta Mattress for like $600 (queen) I work for hilton and get like a %20 discount
haha! i used to have that rolling off the bed problem too! i would have to wake up in the morning and carefully plan a strategy of getting off the bed, my hips hurt really bad so it would take a long time!
i also remember the time with my second daughter, towards the end of the pregnancy my SIL and I went out to lunch and we had due dates that were a week apart. my due date was a week ahead of hers. we had always gotten along great before pregnancy and now that we were so close together we were like in a competition to have our babies first. lol silly i know. so whenever we went to check ups and stuff we would rub it in each others faces. anyway we are out to lunch at a buffet somewhere, and i decided to take my last cupcake with me, i wanted it really bad, and as we were walking back to the car i dropped it and nearly started crying. she laughed so hard at me even though it was clear that i was stressed out about that. man i was mad at her the whole way home, it was a really hormonal, childish thing but we were already at each others' throats. haha being preggo is fun...
I have a story that wasnt too funny when it happened but.....
So last week I was taking a bath, I was so relaxed ( i had a good book too) when I realized how long I had been in the tub. I quickly finished and let the water drain...being that I am getting so big I grabbed the soap holder thingy attached to the tile on the side of the tub to help pull myself up. It broke of the wall alone with 4 other peices of tile!! I fell back in the tub!! I wasnt hurt or anything just stunned! It took me a few minutes to get over the shock but when I did I got out and put my robe on, I started laughing so hard that it hurt! I came out to the living room where my hubby fell asleep on the couch and he woke up. I coulndt stop laughing!! I held up the very heavey soap thing that broke off! He asked me what the heck happend and I said that I guess it couldnt hold up to my weight anymore!! We both laughted about it for the next hour!!
That made me laugh blueeyedtabbycat! It's kinda scary that you fell.. but I can just see the look on your face when the handle broke.. lol
Linzola- I have a fluffy king size down comforter and a huge pregnancy body pillow and they make it an obstacle course to get off the bed!
lol blueeyedtabby thats so funny lol i cant stop laughing sorry its so funny tho
I ran out of ketchup the other day and sobbed in my BF's arms for like 5 mins..
yeah I still laugh just thinking about it!! It was just one of those times that once you start laughing you just cant stop!! Do you ladies ever start laughing over something stupid and ended up laughing so hard you cry or worse pee your pants? I have!!
I have had such a bad day that remebering this has helped lift my spirits alot!!
Thank ladies:)
sometimes i find something so funny i laugh for like 5 minutes straight then my boyfriend laughs and i just laugh even harder. its soo funny you know laughing for like 15 mins helps you burn like a few calories true fact :) i also read that woman ttc should start watching funny movies make them selves laugh truely laugh it will help some how in the ttc aspect i wish i remebered what tho... fun facts :)
When I was pregnant last we had just bought a new queen bed AND a pillowtop mattress. I'm only 5'3" so I had to jump up into bed as it was... well add a pregnancy belly and I basically had to lean into the mattress and roll myself up. That got difficult and I eventually had to use my toddler's step stool to get in and out of bed!!!
