I had gastric bypass and now im pregnant
Hi im just wondering if theres anybody on here who has had gastric bypass or any weight loss surgery? Just want to know what kinda pain meds you take cause i have migraines and it feels terrible to not be able to take even tylenol. Gastric bypass pts cant take any other pain meds except tramadol& im tempted to take one. Plus i have a 2 ina half year old daughter so i feel bad that i she has to see me feeling crappy. Anybody?
May 2010 gastric bypass, my ob prescribed fioricet for migraines and I do tylenol for aches and pains along with a heating pad... How much have y'all gained?
I had the lap band in April 2010 I usually just take tylenol. Maybe ask your doctor about this and see if there is something special you can take?
Tylenol is actually safe in pregnancy if that's what you're asking. No advil or anything
& yes i thought so, i mean im typically good with pain but i been vomiting alot and i need energy for my daughter and these migraines arent helping. Thanks lots, il still talk to my md but i know he will probably say the same thing.
Haha yes im 21 and im so happy i had gastric bypass. It was the best thing ive ever done for myself. I had surgery oct 2012 and now ive lost close to 90 pounds. I conceived easy while my first pregnancy i had to be put on diabetic meds to help me become pregnant. So im so happy im pregnant and now 196 pounds.
I was taking tramadol for really bad back pain but as soon as i feel preg my dr told me i had to cut it out all together! Now im just on heat packs and praying it doesnt flair up. Best thing is to ask your dr before you take anything :/
What a coincidence. im watching TLC a baby story & the mom & dad both had gastric bypass surgery . They're also in their 40s , with a healthy pregnancy & healthy baby ! Good luck
