I don't remember what I paid for it, sorry :/
I guess Im going to try different methods since for everyone its different :c but ugh i just really hate to see waste money down the drain if it doesntw ork for me :/
I tried the patch. I couldn't wear it for more than a day without getting severely sick. Awful.
Every week, but its very easy to remember. You can't miss it because of where you have to place it.
how often do you change the patch though?:oo
The patch is pretty good, at least my experience with it was. It did make me moody and my boobs hurt and grew while I used it, but it was easy to remember to change every week and I had a regular period. I will definitely be using it after our princess is born! The shot on the other hand I've heard more bad reviews than good.
Absolutly LOVE the shot! I got it once every three months, no bleeding, no cramping, no mood swings, nothing! I was on it 3 years before having my daughter, & almost 3 years before getting pregnant this time! Was off of it a year before getting pregnant both times! Also got it before leaving the hospital, & only had minor bleeding for 2 weeks. Hope this helps! Good luck Mama! :)
Damn I'm reading more bad stories than good on here o.o
Well, I literally have no idea what birth control method I want to use,
I hate pills I forget them all the damn time,
mirena just sounds awful and painful,
nuva ring is outta the question
Idk bout the patch or shot?
Anyone been on the patch or shot?
I really want to try implanon since is for three years but idk now :o
I had a bad experience with it, I only had it in for 3months and didn't get my period which was a positive but I was very sick from it, 24hours7days a week i was nauseas.. But it's different for everyone of course, I had a strange reaction as I've never reacted badly to birth control pills, and apparently if you have troubles with the pill implanon can cause troubles too. But I've heard mixed reviews. Give it a go and see if you like it :)
my periods went all wild after a year got anemia twice from bleeding .... but im getting it again this.month .... its the safetest way im not good with pills nor shots so hopefully ill last with it 3 yrs just like last time
I guess it works differently for everyone but i got the awful side effects from it. So maybe try it and see if it works for you. I noticed the side effects within a month.
I had the implanon for 6 months after our last son as born. It was horrible! I spotted every other day. I gained weight, had horrible moodswings and it got infected I dont know how many times. Finally in February of 2012 I was in the shower and I squeezed what looked like a pus pocket on it and the darn thing literally came out of my arm. My body rejected it. I will definitely go back on the pill after this little girl arrives. It was honestky the worse BC I've have ever been on and I'm not exagerating. My sister in law got the Sam thing and she's having the exact same side effects. What about the Mirena IUD?
I loved implanon and plan to go on it after baby gets here. I had no periods and I loved it lol
