Is it normal for braxton hicks to feel like period cramps?

Is it normal for braxton hicks to feel like period cramps? I get them a lot but not in any certain pattern. Im 31 weeks and 5 days.

A lot of people will tell you BH contractions do not hurt...I have been told by an OB that they can feel like REAL labor contractions, and at 35 weeks 1 day with my SECOND baby, yes they can make you feel crampy. Drink lots of water, stay off your feet when you can, rest often and if you have more than four in an hour go get checked out. I had BH contractions from before 18 weeks with both of my pregnancies...

yes i think that some of them can feel like a period cramp..now some can be more painful while others are not as painful

Yes! I went to hosp Wednesday for my BH contractions and thats exactly what they felt like, Normal contractions feeel similar too..Mine were every 4 mins which isnt good... If you have more than 4 in an hr get seen!!

But everyone is different!
