Is it safe or possible?

I have not been pregnant for that long only about four weeks. Before I got pregnant, I was seriously trying to get in shape and lose a large amount of weight. Can I still workout intensively and lose weight safely? Do I need to wait until after I give birth? I am already overweight, and I don't think it's smart or safe to put the baby or myself at risk.

Talk to your Dr, but nearly everything you did before, you can still do. The only things you'll need to avoid is too much ab workouts, like push ups, weight lifting; and as you get bigger, listen to your body and stop when you need to. No need to push yourself.

Mild workouts shouldn't hurt if you've been doing them and your body is used to it, might wanna ask your doctor just in case. Always eat healthy though, for baby and for yourself. Can also help maintain weight.

You can still work out but not insensibly! especially in the first trimester, you want to be very careful. You can do some light exercise like swimming or walking. But don't lift heavy weights or go run Marathon or anything intense like that.

I've known plenty of ladies that worked out their entire pregnancy and was fine as long as they don't over do it. I myself didnt gain much weight its all mostly baby and I just been eating healthy
