Well, I am not really sure at this moment. I started spotting on the 18th and it was very light. Just a little on the toilet paper. It stopped after a few days and then started up again. It's just brown. It's not even red anymore. I know I ovulated on the 13th and that is when we had sex. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative. I am due to have my period on wednesday (28 day cycle), but what is with this spotting? I have never had this before. I am not on medication, I am not stressed, not sick, etc. Why would I be having this discharge? Is it possible I could still be pregnant? Should I wait to take another test the day after my period is due (if it doesn't show up)? That is my plan right now, but any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
I seriously felt pregnant about a few days after I actually was. I had a really sore back & breasts too though. But I had implantation bleeding that lasted like a week..it was pinkish/orangish...I took a test when I was a little less then 4 weeks (I didnt know how far I was at the time, but after seeing a dr he told me all the weeks & stuff). Mine was really only enough to see it when I wiped but I did have a little in my underwear that first few days I had the bleeding. You can take a test in like a week probably...Good Luck!
Implantation bleeding lasts a few hours up to maybe a day or two. It should be very light and can vary in colour. Only around 30% of women actually have it, and it occurs when the egg implants, roughly 7-14 days after ovulation/fertilization. This is also when symptoms will occur as the egg has to produce the hormone to get symptoms from pregnancy.
Does anyone else know anything about implantation bleeding? How long it lasts, etc.? I am just SO curious. I just know something is going on.
Thank you I am going to try to hold off until the morning of the 27th just to be safe. Now I am kind of hoping I am. I will keep you posted! :)
Sounds like it could be implantation bleeding. I'd wait and test the day of your period, or at least closer to your period. You can get the first response that can be used 6 days before a missed period. :-) I have never had implantation bleeding, so I can't offer any firsthand experience, sorry. Best of luck to you in any case.
