I got hired from a job at 25 wks too and I told them in the interview. They were really understanding and liked that I was honest with them they said it showed good character and I still work there 32 wks
Wait til after and be careful I was let go for "working to slow" after I told them. Some people will make any excuse to let you go.
Also, they do not have to give you maternity leave it depends on that companies particular rules. Most companies dont offer maternity leave until 1 year after employment and that is for full time employees. If they choose to, they can give your job to someone else while you are out because you will not have worked long enough to qualify for FMLA more than likely. (Most of the time FMLA doesnt kick in until 1 year after employment as well)
Dont mention it until after you are hired! I tried to get a job at a video store (i could work up until delivery) but they refused to hire me because i waspregnant. The lady looked at my obviously pregnant belly and told me she wasnt hiring for fulltime (they were hiring for manager), told me they were only hiring part time, trying to get me to say never mind i dont need it. Then finally looked at my belly and said "we need someone for a permanent position" and then left me in the interview room. It was clearly discrimination against my pregnancy. So i would wait until AFTER. and by LAW you do not have to disclose your pregnancy until after hired and they can NOT fire you for disclosing pregnancy after being hired. Its illegal. Just as its illegal for them to deny you a job due to pregnancy but they can make it seem like that was not the reason.
They can fire you for knowing and hiding it from them though.
I wouldn't mention it until after and then once your hired and worked for a bit notify them of ur pregnancy and they can't fire you cause your pregnant and they half to give you maternity leave!
-&didnt get the job. (the one iWas on the verge of gettin at 12w)
