Leaking Urine or Amniotic Fluid

Well im currently 13 weeks pregnant and having problems right now with a really bad gallbladder (not able to keep anything down) and a urinary tract infection, ive previously had two 1st trimester misscarriages which resulted in D and Cs, here latley ive felt like im leaking its been happening for at least a week now, and ive been wearing a pad to montior it and the pad usually feels damp and has a slight yellow spots on it by the end of the day is this urine or fluid im so scared right now of something being wrong and im seeing my doctor tonight again for the gallbladder problem and plan on asking her but just wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions or advice as to what might be going on

Thanks everyone I did go to the doctor monday evening and she said she isnt worried and believes its either urine or just a increase in discharge she said normally fluid will really really leak like a stream constantly. But i really appriciate all the help

or increase in discharge, mayb bactiral infection?? have them test you for that......

My daughter had this happen to her too. The doctor told her it's very unusual to leak amniotic fluid this early in the pregnancy because there's not much in there that early. He said it was most likely urine leakage. He said it happens a lot to pregnant women.

It could be just a change in CF, but I'd suggest the sniff test and going to the doctor.

If you have any suspicion that you might be leaking AF, you really need to get to the doctor.

i found amniotic fluid smell like sperm! lol,..I dont know if anyone elses smells like that but mine did! haha

Try smelling it. I know it's nasty, but what my doctor said is if it smells like urine, it's fine. But if it smells sweeter it might be amniotic fluid.

This is going to sound gross, but do a sniff test on your pad.  If it smells like ammonia, then it's probably urine, that's what What to Expect says.  If it smells sweeter, then it might be fluid.  Also, there might be some OTC tests or something you might be able to find to see if that is what you are leaking.  Most importantly, I'd call your doc.
