You really won't feel movement all the time until around 28 weeks or more. Your baby is still really little and doesn't have the muscle strength to give you a really great jab.
You also need to take into consideration that some babies are really active and some are just really quiet in utero. My girls just rolled around and wiggled (didn't really kick me or jab me).
Also, the placenta (in both of my pregnancies) was in the front of the uterus so it cushioned a lot of blows and movement. When you get an ultrasound, ask if the placenta is in the front because that could mean you feel less movement, too.
No your baby is still so tiny that it can find places to hide where you wont feel him or her that much. Also some days your baby is more tired than others (just like a regular person) and wont feel like kicking up its heels as much. I didn't really start feeling movement like crazy everyday until I was like 32 weeks... before then sometimes I would barely feel anything for days. I'm now 36 weeks and she is super healthy and just fine. If you are concerned just contact your doctor to get some reassurance that is what they are there for! :)
THATS WHAT SCARES ME BECAUSE SHOULDNT MY MOVEMENTS BE MORE FREQUENT THAN YOURS SINCE IMA MONTH AHEAD OF YOU?
I go through it every couple of days. I hardly felt the baby move at all in a day and I immediately panic, but today, it's just non-stop!!! =) It's very normal at this stage still. The movement will still be very irregular for some time. As long as you are feeling some movements, you sound okay.
HI LADIES.. WELL I AM 24WEEKS AND I WILL BE 25 ON THURSDAY. I HAVEN'T REALLY FELT MY BABY MOVING TODAY... MAYBE ONCE OR TWICE. THATS ABOUT IT. I KNOW THAT AS LONG AS I FEEL MOVEMENTS EACH DAY I SHOULDNT CALL THE DOCTOR BUT I AM STILL WORRIED. ALSO, I HAVE BEEN SITTING DOWN ALL DAY SO ITS NOT THAT IM MISSING THE MOVEMENTS. HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED THIS OR ANYTHING LIKE IT AT THIS STAGE?
