Maternity grant can i apply?
Hi any 1 from UK be able to help me please, im not sure if im able to to get it, i already have a daughter but i didnt get grant when pregnant with her as i was working at the time now im on my 2nd pregnancy and im just wondering can i apply??
Im not sure if its in usa too but in UK its a £500 pound grant you get when you have a child just to help you get started to buy bits for the baby
What is an maternity grant? & I am a working single parent of one . Is this in the USA as well?

Ok im not fussed if dont get it i completly forgot about the grant untill some 1 mentioned it today thanks for help though :) luckily my daughters only 2 still got some big bits like cot and moses basket :)
Aww bless ya! I dont think you can apply for any mat leave without having worked anywhere infortuneatly. But if ur on any other form of benefits there may be a a way around it! X
No i gave up work when my daughter was 9 months not worked since wanted her to be in preschool before wanted to ho bk to work now she is i edn up pregnant lol :)
