Sometimes our bodies just grow too used to one type of pill and it starts causing problems and so we need to change to another, especially if you've been on it for as long as 5 years. Good Luck, I hope you get some answers.
I've made an appointment I'm going Friday. I've told them my situation they said they want me to come in, I'm going to get a blood test and the said their switching my pill. I've been on this particular pill fir 5 years now and have never had a problem so hopefully a new pill will help.
Sorry, from your post it sounded like you were saying you missed pills. I would go see your doctor. Explain your symptoms to them and say you've already tried a test and it was negative so you want to know what else is causing this. The pill alone can just cause spotting/break through bleeding, so could just be that.
I didn't miss pills. I took my pills like j was supposed to an whenever I stopped my pills at the end of my pack I never started. I proceeded with starting a new pack a week later like I was supposed to and about 2 weeks after that I started spotting brown. Today is my last pill of this pack and I'm still spotting and I guess I'll see if I start or not. Should I go to a dr. Or wait it out done more?
Since you missed pills, and then started them later than you should have, this along can cause the symptoms you describe. You need to have missed a period or leave it 2-3 weeks after sex in order to take a pregnancy test and get an accurate result. Symptoms mean nothing and don't determine pregnancy.
