Phenergan is very safe to use. It was the main one I took - My dosage was 25mg at 3-4x a day.

The main side effects are fatigue (IE it'll knock you out until you you adjust to it) and it can cause restlessness.

Keep your stomach full at all times...I had very severe vomiting from week 5 until week 16 of my pregnancy...and I noticed that if I set an alarm every 3 hours (even during the night) to get up and eat it would be less frequent...Never drink anything on an empty stomach, never brush your teeth before eating...I also drank ginger ale.. but I flatenned it out first because if I drank it bubly it would make me burp and eventually puke...pregnancy is full of amazing moments and then you have the not so amazing moments...but I almost totally forgot about the morning sickness part when I started to feel my baby boy move! Goodluck !!

Talk to your doctor, they might have some herbal pill they can recommend. My doc also said apple juice might help. Leave cracker by your bedside, have a couple before getting out of bed.
Also, take your time in the morning. Whenever I have to rush out of bed I feel worst afterward.
It's going to get better soon, I promise.
Once you see the little heartbeat on the screen, everything else seem not to matter anymore.
So worth it ^_^

Yes, if you are unable to hold down clear liquids or any foods you will need to speak to your doctor. I had hyperemesis while pregnant and spent everyday sick and nauseated. I was put on anti-nausea medicines and took them for 7 months of my pregnancy. When you eat, eat slowly. If there's a certain time of the day that you can tolerate food eat during that. Take small sips of liquids and don't gulp it. It's also important that you eat what you can tolerate. It's more important that you have ANY form of food, so you don't necessarily have to eat 100% healthy. As you progress further into pregnancy you will start to feel better and will be able to expand your diet to include more healthy choices.

actually, you can try anything with ginger in it, ginger ale, ginger tea, ginger biscuits, have a dry biscuit like saltines and a cup of tea before you get out of bed, grated apple can sometimes help, vitamin b6 can also help, also snacking on raw almonds, there are also some good homeopathic remedies for morning sickness as well

Typically, the thing that will help most is to never let your stomach empty completely and not to over-eat at any one time. I found nuts and starchy foods like potato chips and crackers helped the most, as did protein (meat mostly, but cheese and eggs helped). I also found this time that real ginger helped - my husband went to a health food store to find ginger ale made with real ginger, and also ginger chews, which helped a bit. I also found very cold or very hot beverages worked for me, but nothing in between. Good luck!

There's really nothing you can do if nothing is helping. Are you throwing up? Nausea is a good thing...it means the pregnancy is progressing as it should.
