Need to know ASAP please

So I finally started my period!! This might be stupid to some people but I need to know! If i started my period at 8 pm at night would i count that at day 1 or would I count the next day as being 1 since it wuld be a full day??? I need to know bc I start clomid and on day 3 of cycle I start it and just need advise on how I shuld count my days!! Thanks!

You don't count spotting so until you do get an actual flow then that is when you count it.

If you're confused, give your doctor a call and see what they say. More than likely they'll have you count the next day as CD 1, but they might not--better safe than sorry.

Okay I'm confused but it wasn't a flow until the next day so I guess I shuld count that day as day 1. Thanks ladies!!!

I would actually call too. I've always counted the same day but I've been reading and I've seen a lot of what trying43 has said.
I always used to start right when waking up but one of my last 2 cycles have started at like 8 or 9pm.

I've always counted the day I started as day 1, as long as it's not drops of blood. (But I always start when I wake up, so it's not an issue) I would call your doctor about it and see what they say about it so you know 100%

I hate to contradict but if you start after 12 noon you would consider the next day as day 1 according to my ob and re.  And it must be full flow not spotting.  Since u started at 8pm I would go with the next day as day 1 good luck

The first day was the day it started no matter what time it was.

I would say count that day too for sure!

I always counted the day I start as day one. at least I did if it wasnt super late like 11. but I would say count it.
