New Pregos (List of medications)

Here is a list that my Dr gave me at my first pregnancy check up. I hope this helps.

Allergies- Benadryl, Tavist, Robitussin Expectorant, Zyrtec, Claritin, Tylenol Sinus.

Cold/Fever- Tylenol or extra strength Tylenol: increase your fluid intake, rest in bed; report any fever greater than 100.4F.

Congestion- Benadryl, Mucinex, Tavist, Robitussin Expectorant.

Cough- Robitussin, Mucinex, Delsym*my fav*

Constipation- Colace, Fibercon, Metamucil, Milk of Magnesia, Surfax, increase natural fiber and fluids into your diet.

Diarrhea- Kaopectate, Imodium AD, clear fluids for 24 hours; no dairy products.

Lol it is fantastic stuff! I just make sure to drink prune juice after to avoid any constipation from the codine... Ain't nobody got time for that! Lol

Lol! Yeah that s-ucks! But thankfully you didn't need it! Oooo thanks! I didn't know that about Tylenol 3! I could have been taking that shizzz this whole time?! Gah!

I wish I had this when I was newly preggers and not a week before being due lol. I got a short list from mother risk around 5 months but never needed anything on it. I would like to add that tylonal 3 is also safe if needed but not to be taken reguarly. I've had to take it twice.

Headache- Tylenol or extra strength Tylenol, report any headache that does not get relief from this medication.

Heartburn- Mylanta, Maalox, Riopan, Tums, Pepcid AC

Hemorrhoids- Anusol cream/suppositories, tucks, preparation h, report rectal bleeding

Gas- Mylicon-80, Mylanta, gas-x, phazyme

Nausea- emetrol, vitamin b6 200mg daily

Sore throat- Cepacol lozenges, warm sadly water gargling
