OPK positive possible mean pregnant?

Hey all.
Had IUD removed on Jan. 30th. My last period was Jan. 15 or 16. Which I thought I would be ovulating around the time of the removal. Used an OPK for a week after removal with no positives. Ended up taking another OPK Feb. 11th. And had a positive. Does that mean that my cycle had to of started when the IUD was removed. Is that even possible? I don't think I received a period in between. Just some spotting..Or is it possible the OPK was positive because I'm pregnant? No period yet. But it's due any day now.
Anyone have any answers..it would be greatly appreciated..

I got a postive OPK and 3 days later had another positive, but take that as maybe I ovulated 2x.

The last 2 days OPKS were negative as were pregnancy tests. from what I've learned it does take a while to get positive OPKS if your actually pregnant. You'll get a positive pregnancy test before that.

It DOES detect HCG...well sort of. you can look at peeonastick.com to find out the whole scientific method of how that works.  I got + opk after being further along in my pregnancy but not at the beginning. But if i pee on one now it comes up very positive.

I thought that the testing positive during pregnancy thing was a myth and tried it anyhow after a positive from the doctors office.  It was negative.  I had several left though because I bought a 30 pack and decided to take one about 1-2 weeks later and it was screaming positive.  It does not detect HCG but your LH levels can rise again while pregnant and that is what it detects.  I can tell you first hand that it can go positive after the positive pregnancy test, but I would not suspect before you get the positive pregnancy test.  I would be more inclines to think that you are about to ovulate...keep trying and good luck!

OPKs detect the LH surge which happens 24-48hrs before ovultion it doesnt detect HCG so i dont think its possible to detect pregnancy from OPKs.

It is possible that because you had you IUD removed its messed with your cycle.
