Babies clothes are so expensive. I spent 432 on babies clothes yesterday and I feel .. They should be made cheaper. Ouch!

Yeah i live in Manhattan and my husband is the vice president of this bank so i mean not in a bad note but we are just young and bringing up a child. At our early thirties. :) thanks @specialmum however I will have to look at where exactly I accept the request haha.

RockRose.. I didn't mean that I spent 1500 dollars on a stroller. I said that the carseat and stroller combo from Orbit can cost up to 1500 dollars. I'm not sure why you got so defensive. I simply stated that if you have the money to spend, then why not? However, I don't feel anyone on here should feel the need to defend their financial situation to anyone else. Like I said in an earlier comment on this post, if I had the money I would have gone just as crazy! :) I got lucky finding great deals at second hand stores.

Oh, you live in a wonderful city.  I imagine it IS a little harder to meet people.  People everywhere around you but it does take time in NYC to meet people and to feel totally comfortable.  I'm out in the suburbs . . .  a LOT different than Manhattan.  I'll send you a friend request.  Keep in touch!

Actually I am a programmer, like making Apps and updating them so mostly I work from home, so I will be with my baby full time until 6 month the look at taking him for 2hr baby care so that he can meet and interact with other babies i think it helps the baby maybe there I will find friends. :) in this busy state am In Manhattan.

I understand.  it does take time.  I am guessing you'll bond more with other ladies once you have your baby (if they aren't too jealous of your car seat, ha ha).  No, seriously.  I had good friends before my kids . . .   but the women I am so close to now that they are like sisters are all women that I met after I had my children and we bonded over that.  Are you going to be a working mom or a stay at home mom?  I stay at home and have found many places to meet other moms.  But it does take time to find 'true' friends.  I'll be your 'med help' friend though!!  :>)

I mean for friends @specialmum you need to trust them, it takes time. I have been here for only 5 months, and you know you don't know knocking asking for good friends. My husband is my only friend for now. I mean my neighbors are cool but not social so it difficult.

You're not probably buying the best.  You're overspending.  HELLO,  there's NO reason to buy a $1500 stroller.  

I'm just going to say this.  I have a lot of money.  There is no frgging way I would spend that on this ridiculous stuff that's pushed on new mommies right now.
