First i want to say im sorry you are going threw this and somethings just are not fair. I will keep you in my prayers. I hope everything turns out well in the end, for i do beleive god does not put things on us that we can not handle.
You should be able to see a specialist.
My cousin was on bed rest from 20weeks til delivery because her cervix was dilating and she had already previoulsy lost a baby at 5 months becuase of the same thing, she had a cerclage done(the stitching) but was on bed rest at home until then. That happens because for some reason or another your cervix is to weakk to carry a pregnancy at the time and the person cervix starts to efface(gets thin, need to be at 100% effaced when delivering)There are different reasons it happens, actually its called an incompetent cervix. Its labor without the pain. I think you can have the stitch as early as 14 weeks, because once your are like 4cm dilated or the water breaks they wont do it. Also my sons aunt had the same thing happen to her at 5 months but she could not stay at home, she was on best rest in hospital and they had to stitch her numberous of times and even gave her medication to relax the uterus because she actually started having contractions. She ended up having the baby at 24 weeks, thank god for all the new technology, baby survived but it was a long journey for the baby far as recovering.
Im glad you found this out sooner than later. Stay on bed rest, having an incompetent cervix is serious, if someone could try and get you a bedpan, i would see about that, you wana try not to put no pressure on your cervix.
a high risk doctor can be seen at anytime during pregnancy, i got mine a month in, i had placenta previa and bedrest for a month fixed it for me, but it sure is boring! just stay on bedrest till you see your doc and go from there, you might get lucky it may fix itself! remeber positive thinking is really good because negative stuff puts more stress on your baby and your body, and you dont need that right now, just be calm and think that theres nothing you can really do, just be as calm and positive that everything will be fine as possible! good luck sweety please keep us updated!
