Hi,

Just wondering if you can help?
I am ttc and  i am really confused, i am usually VERY regular and all of a sudden yesterday (14th Nov) i started to spot which has now turned into a medium flow with RED blood (im not sue until 18th Nov) I wondered if this could be implantation bleeding but everything ive read has said that its usually only very light?/

Ashelen is correct.  Implantation bleeding is typically described as spotting that lasts 1-2 days - only about 25% of women experience it.

An early period seems more likely.  You could test in about a week though since a HPT should register positive if this was implantation bleeding.

Some women say that their implantation bleeding is more than just spotting, but truthfully it is usually very light. There is no flow involved in most implantation bleeding. It MIGHT be, but probably not that close to your period being due. You can wait until your period is due and test, but if you continue to bleed I would just say you had your period early and try again next cycle. Good luck <3 When in doubt...see your doctor :)
