Pain :/ (Sorry if gross)
Hi, so I know I'm not pregnant anymore, having had my baby 8 days ago, but this is the only forum where I really get any responses.
As some of you may know, I had to get an emergency C-Section to deliver my son due to him being distressed. I was upstairs this evening to put away some of his clothes as we had gotten more from visitors so I put him in his Moses basket so I could keep an eye on him while I was hanging his stuff up, next minute I had a sharp searing pain inside me, shooting right up. I had about three or four of these in a row, each lasting for about 20 seconds, I went to the loo and peed (sorry if TMI) and when I wiped there was a lot of blood on the paper and in the bowl. I have been passing a lot of small clots, I see them on my pad when I change it and when I wipe, and there have also been a couple of larger clots that I have passed as well - there was also a clot when I wiped tonight.
Anyone have any idea what this might have been? xx

U defo not havin anymore kids then? Thats gd that he has another week. My bf gets 2wks then hes taken 2wks hols. He cant wait to be off. Am just dyin for it to be all over. Ma thigh muscles are so sore and im findin it hard to walk now. But still no baby. Been off work now for 3weeks and dnt want to eat into my maternity to much more lol x
Ha ha yeah i know, Im glad to have experienced labour as i won't again, but it was painful lol. Nothing unmanageable though lol. Yeah i think its next year it comes out, looking forward to it already lol. Yeah he has another week to go before he is back, he is smitten with the wee man though so think it'll be hard for him to go back. The visitors have quietened down now thankfully, because i was in hospital for 3days most of them visited there, now its my friends coming through to meet him lol. Grandparents visit two or three times a week, so that's not too bad x
Everyone seems to be goin on holiday. Ma brother txts me everyday to get an update. But as usal no update :(! My bf said to me today tht i want to go into labor and as soon as i am i wont want to be lol. And hes goin to remind me that i wanted to b in labor lol. Hes so mean at times ha. Ther makin another fast so u can go see that in th next few yrs lol. Have u had losts of visitors and that? Ur babys dad will be bak at work soon aswell wont he?x
Well i was exactly two weeks late and it killed me so hope you're not waiting as long as that. Ha ha yeah my mil was on holiday and told me to wait til she came back, and my dad and step mum were on holiday and told me to go before they were away lol. He came Thursday, they came back Saturday. Aw brilliant, that's even better then lol. Yeah i doubt i could leave him when only a week old so think ill break tradition and just watch it online lol x
I really hope i dont go over either. Have a feelin i will tho. It was brilliant and we got in for free with best seats bcos they buggerd up our tickets. So a sat night for free.. made my day. Yeah thats why im glad i managed to go see it bcos i love them and i no i wldnt hav been able to leav little one. My brother and his gf are on holiday just now and are not bak till 30th so they dnt want baby to come yet. But im so over it and want him/her here now lol.x
Aw Im dying to see it. Not sure i could leave the wee man that long though... Might just have to watch it online lol. you must be getting so impatient now, bet you can't wait, i really hope you don't go over your due date x
Thats good tht hes a great baby. Iv got 5days left till DD and just wish somethng would happen already. Getin so impatient now. But i made it to see Fast 6 last night. Thot th excitment might send me into labor... But nothing lol x
Well its still happening, my midwife told me to monitor them and keep them if i can, she said the little ones are fine, the big ones are ok if they break into little ones when squashed between fingers (gross i know) but to keep the big ones that don't disintegrate. Any more than 5 big ones in a day and I've to call the hospital, as it could mean that there is some placenta left in me, or a small internal bleed. Joys. @may baby the wee man is doing brilliantly, feeding and sleeping well and is very content :-) couldn't ask for more :-) x x
It's normal vag birth or c section it will still be the same just different way of having a baby
I had a c section also with my first pregnancy n I had the same thing. But its normal u have to remember also we didn't bleed for 9 months so were bound to lose all that blood in a few days after giving birth.
I didn't have csection but my mom had 5 and she said she bled the same way I did after I had my girls, lots of clots passing. It's just your uterus cleaning out and shrinking but like mentioned above, of you soak 2 pads go to the ER! :) congrats on your little man and I hope the pain gets easier! :))
hey mommabear. Hows th little man doin? I remember ma friend tellin me tht she felt similur pain and th midwife told her tht she was doin to much. She didnt hav a c-section tho. She was cookin and clranin and runnin after her hubbt and other kid. Uv had major surgery so ur bound to feel sore. But any concers i wld call NHS 24 and at least ask them. They can giv u advice over th fone aswell as see u. Was it just that once or happend again since then?x
Well im not so sure bout ur situation but I know when I had my son (had him vaginally) I lost a lot of blood. In the hospital I was passing clots the sound of grape fruit. I was sent home 3 days later n my son came home four days after I did n I was still passing clots size of golf balls. I called my doc n they said that it's just my uderous contracting back into shape. They said if I fill up more than 2 maxi pads like the large ones in an hrs time to go to ER. I hope this helps u a lil. I'm Sry u keep bleeding :( hope u feel better n don't hesitate to call doc for their input as well!
