Pain after sex while Pregnant

Ever since I have been about 5 months pregnant every time me and my partner have sex I get intense burning like pain in my vagina after(sorry to be so graphic), I didn't feel comfortable enough with my doctor to ask him about it and now I don't have a doctor until I move out of state. Does anyone know what this means? I have had other problems such as constant cramping and intense back and hip pains most of my pregnancy, I am unsure if that is related.  Thanks in advance!

it could be from irritations from being dry.... have you tried lube? or it could be some kind of infection... how long do you feel the burning for?

Do you and your partner have sex often? The reason I ask is my husband and I dont have sex alot (I havent wanted it for the last long while I dont have any interest in it) and when we do have sex, I have pain afterwards and burning, its because I am not used to it and my Vagina has drawn up really tight, which causes pain and burning for me. But like the other lady said you could be dry or have a infection.

Well Majikat, I haven't had any problems with dryness, and I would say it last about a half hour, you may be right though about an infection, maybe a uti? I had one early in my pregnancy, but my only symptom is the burning, no discharge or anything else...
ketona- We used to have sex often but not anymore because I am always in pain or just not interested, I had the pain while sex was on a regular basis and now that we aren't able to do it often, sorry to hear you get pain as well, it really is horrible
ProudMumToBe- That makes a lot of sense as well, I will definately hold off, at least until I see my new doctor when I move.
Thank You ladies!!

It could be a UTI, yeast infection or BV. All 3 are pretty common, especially in pregnancy!
