Period?
I was due for my period on the 3rd of August. Instead, I have had extremely light spotting since the 7th - literally a spot a day. Breasts and lower back have been sore since a week before my period was due. Does this spotting count as a period? 4 negative preg tests. No stress.
It seems I failed to say that i had what I thought was my period but I was actually miscarrying
You have confused me. you have gone from period not coming 3rd aug.to negative tests to blightened ovum,you got your answers to questions as you posted about late period.that was questions i was replying to,but just noticed the question was posted early august.and diagnose in sept with mc.so im sorry this has happen,good luck for next time.
It is impossible to be any earlier (due to the bleeding and spotting I haven't had sex). It WAS a blighted ovum. I know at 8 weeks something would be seen but I had already miscarried around 6 weeks and that's why i had all the bleeding/spotting which only stopped a few days ago. On the scan my womb was empty which indicates the miscarriage already took place. the hcg levels were way to low anyway and have declined now.
They shouldnt have told you that is a blightened ovum.what was your HCG results.if you are 8 weeks somthing would have been seen.is it possible your alot early than you thought.
hcg went up very slightly and i had another blood test today to see if it has risen again. Had an internal scan but nothing was seen (the doctor said it was highly unlikely that we would see anything yet). All my symptoms are very odd and the doctor didn't want to give me any conclusion until we have the results from today's blood test
I would be 8 weeks now. My hcg is very low on the blood test, only 23. I will get more results today to show if the hcg has come down or gone up
How far along was you supposed to be.how can they tell was blighten ovum,if your tests were all negative..if they tested you and got positve pregnancy test,then you are extremley early and they couldnt diagnose you with that,most pregnancys nothing is seen until 5 week mark.myself at 4 weeks but this was a black hole so tiny.personally if you are pregnant i would wait fews more weeks then request a scan.somthing may be seen then.
amberd5191 - Thanks for your comment. I have decided to wait until my next period is due. If I have the same problem or no period at all & HPT show negative then I'll go see my doc.
