Personal labour method/stories?

Hi ladies, i'm wondering if anyone has birthing options well thought out?
Im 10 weeks with my second, with my daughter i had a gas and air water birth. it was a brilliant experience but this time around i am thinking of using epidural or some sort of injection for pain.
I want to experience less of having the head born, its not pleasant lol but i do not want forceps involved if possible. i know i have some time ahead, but im only thinking about it. i have been reading up on it and it seems everything has bad points etc.
Anyone like to share personal experience or choice in future? thanks :)

I had an epidural with my daughter. I planned on a natural birth but once I was induced the pain was so bad I could hardly move. My husband talked me into the epidural(I'm terrified of needles) and it was the best choice I made. I had no pain at all and was falling asleep on and off. I had worked that night and went into the hospital the next morning. My nurse and husband held my legs while I pushed and I got to be the one to cut the cord:)

All in all it was a great expirence and I hope my next will go just as smooth.

I had an epidural when I gave birth to my daughter. I had intended to do natural water birthing, but hadn't counted on back labour. For me, it was the best choice I made. During my contractions I was getting extreme pain that was making me sick, and dizzy/lightheaded. (I couldn't walk without things going black) My labour was slightly longer than it might have been otherwise (I pushed for 1.5 hours) but it's difficult to say. I could feel the contractions and still move so I knew when to push and how to push. I also refused any interventions, such as being cut or vacuum/forceps. Just make what you wish clear before you go through with anything.
